Your The Best by Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends,  Noga  here and I am so happy to share with you another project for Gerda Steiner Designs today.

.
To make this card I took a piece of bristol smooth cardstock and cut a slimline card.

The grass was created by blending spun suger  distress oxide ink.
I also added sparkle snow flakes to the sky.

Next I colored the sweet images using copic markers and glued it to my panel with foam tape for dimension.

Next I stamped a greeting from the stamp set using black ink, how brilliant is this hashtag sentence??

For a final tuch, I tied natural twine to the card.

I hope you enjoy the card I created and feel inspired to create!

Thanks for stopping by,

Guest Design - Deck the halls by Izzy Scrap

Bonjour !

Izzy Scrap here today with some inspiration ! I'm back with a new guest designing post for Gerda Steiner Designs.

Today I'm featuring the Reindeer & a tree  stamp set. It includes six adorable reindeers, a Christmas tree, Santa and few ornaments. For my card I only used the reindeers, all of them, and the ornaments. In a few days it will be the countdown to Christmas, and we will start by decorating the tree and the house.

This year will be a bit different because of the Sanitary situation, we are not sure to be able to spend Christmas day with our families because of the lockdown. So, to stay in the weird, I imagined a Christmas tree with a pyramid of reindeers !

With a lot of masking, I stamped the reindeers one by one starting by the bottom of the pyramid (left and right) and going up. Before taking off all the masks I also stamped the floor and I blended a soft pink touch of ink for the wall.

Then I removed the masks and I coloured the reindeers and the floor with colour pencils. For the ornaments I used some glitter pens.

I stamped the sentiment in two shades of red, then I heat embossed it with clear powder. I also hung a little star from this sentiment.

To finish I adhered a pattern paper on the double card and I glued the image on top. Aren't they funny these adorable reindeers ? I especially hope that they will bring a smile to the recipient.

Et voilà ! I've been very happy and delighted to share my cards with you this month. Again, a very huge thank you to Gerda and her team for welcoming me.

Wishing you a beautiful and crafty day !

Izzy

Happy holiday penguins....!!

 Hi friends...

Ashlee here today, I hope you are all well and getting prepped for that busy Christmas season!!

I have a new card to share with you using one of the brand new sets "Happy holiday penguin"...

How adorable is this festive group of penguins right??!!
I just love all their happy little faces!!

To create this card I started with a white card base and I stamped the sentiments from all of us and holidays straight onto the card base using Memento tuxedo black ink...

I then added some strips of cardstock to match the colours of the letters the penguins are holding...

The image was all coloured with Spectrum noir tri-blend and Altenew markers then cut out using my brother scan n cut machine before adding to the cardbase using some foam dots for dimension!!

I finished it all off with a touch of sequins for some pretty bling...

I hope you enjoy this new holiday card, Happy crafting my friends.

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies I have fussy cut a square from red cardstock and I glued it on a white card with foamtape. With a circle die from the set Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 from Crealies I hvae drawn a circle on the red square with a white gelpen. I have left a little space open for my sentiment. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have die-cut a couple of tiny stars from white cardstock with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke and glued those in the circle.

Hi there,

it's Tanja here and I created this Pop-up Fall Card using the Gerda Steiner Designs Foxes and Happy Fall stamp sets:

  • stamp the adorable little fox from the Gerda Steiner Designs Foxes set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf
  • mask the fox and stamp the wreath from the same set with that same brown ink
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • use patterned paper to create a band to wrap around the card
  • for the inside of the card cut out the letters F, A, L, and  another L from kraft cardstock with the help of the Altenew Caps Bold die set
  • cover the letters slightly offset with patterned paper
  • create a background using the My favorite Things Whimsical Woodgrain Backdrop, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • create a kraft pop up backdrop and ink up its edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
  • stamp the Happy from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Hedgehog with Gifts

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Hedgehog with Gifts. I wanted to take a break from the holiday cards, so this set was perfect for a simple thank you card.

There are three hedgehogs in this set, but I decided to only use two of them. Because I was only using two images, I decided to create a mini slimline card, which measures at 3 x 6. I used a scallop die cut for the main panel and then another die cut to cut out my white cardstock. I placed a black stripe across the bottom to ground the hedgehogs as well as hold the sentiment.

I placed the gift right in the middle since I thought if the hedgehogs were holding the gift, it took away from the two of them since it's rather large. I also created a mini slimline envelope using a die that matched the card. I just thought it was so perfect!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Stepped Up Snow Angels

Happy Wednesday everyone, it’s Karen here today.  I’ve got a step card to share with you that features the Snow Angel stamp set.  How much fun is it that these guys are making snow angels!

Now, at the end of this post, I’ve also got another Reindeer and a Tree card that I have just made a video for and had posted on Instagram.  I told Gerda I would use a different stamp set this week, but honestly, I just couldn’t stop playing with those reindeer! So I’m sneaking it in here to share with you, so don’t tell Gerda! *wink, wink*

So here’s my Snow Angel card...

I wanted my card to look like the characters were out on some snowy hillsides on a frosty day, so I chose to make a step card.  If you’ve never made one before, they are very easy to do and I’ve got a video made for you to see how I did it.  To watch the video, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

I embossed my snowbanks with an embossing folder from Kaisercraft called Circles.  The background sky was made with a stencil from a company called A Colorful Life and is called Cloud Edger, and I used Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg, Tattered Rose and Spun Sugar.  I used the Woodland Borders die set from Sunny Studios to create my snowbanks and for the trees.  I added some Nuvo glimmer paste in Moonshine to the trees, and some glitter accents in Fresh Snowfall around the characters arms and legs.  I mounted Santa, Rudolph and the snowman on action wobblers so they can get busy making their snow angels!

Since this card tends to flop open, I decided to add a belly band around it with a sentiment on it.

And now here is the Reindeer and a Tree card I’m quietly sneaking in!  Santa is having a little trouble on the rooftop with his reindeer (or maybe a lot!).  I’m not sure all the presents will be delivered this year, especially since Rudolph has chosen to avoid the mayhem and stay on the ground along with Santa’s sack!

And if you want to see how I made this card, I have a video for you.  PLEASE CLICK HERE to see the video.

I hope these cards have given you a little inspiration.  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

It's time for cake....!!

 Hello my friends...

Ashlee here today and I have a super fun glow in the dark underwater scene card to share with you featuring the awesome stamp set "Big bite"....

I created this card by starting off with a base of watercolour cardstock and masked off the bottom piece...

I then used some Catherine Pooler inks to ink blend the water!!

Once the ink was dry I went over it with an anti static tool because now it was time to add the brand new glow in the dark embossing powder by WOW! called Galaxy glow...

Using WOW! embossing ink and a stencil from Heffy Doodle called first snow I went over the stencil that was placed over the inked area with an ink blending tool, removed the stencil, covered in embossing powder, removed the excess powder and then heat set with my dual heat gun!!

Wollllaaahhhhh check out this glow......

How cool is this powder right??!!

I coloured up the awesome images from the Big bite stamp set using Spectrum noir tri-blend and Altenew markers then added them to the card base using foam tape for dimension....

I finished it all off with a sentiment from the same stamp set and some pretty shell sequins!!

I hope you enjoy this glowing card, Happy crafting...

Snowman and birds - Let it snow! - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new project on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a card for my Memory dex

On the card I have used the digital stamp Snowman and birds from Gerda Steiner designs. With a black fineliner I have drawn the snowhills a bit longer, so they have the perfect size for my card. Then I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have die-cut the bottom part of the image with the Stencil SL120 from Studio light and then I have fussy cut the upper part of the image. I used the same die to cut a card for my memory dex from blue shimmer cardstock. I have glued the image with foamtape on the blue card. I have stamped a sentiment from the stampset Handletter - text x-mas small (130501/1812) from Craft emotions with Versamark ink on the card and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. Then I added snow on the card with white sticker dots. I applied Clear sparkle embossing glitter (WS15r) from Wow on parts of the image to give it some extra sparkle. :)

Happy Holiday Penguin

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Happy Holiday Penguin and oh my goodness, is it not the most adorable set ever?!

I know everyone colors penguins in black and white but I really wanted to do something a bit different. I first stamped using a
No-Line ink so I could do some no line coloring with Copic markers. I decided to use a rainbow assortment of colors with the boldest colors being the letters the penguins were holding along with the scarves.

For the background, I used a bunch of distress inks to create a galaxy backbround. When I finished with that, I used a snowy die cut to cut out a piece of white paper. I also mimicked the colors of the penguins into the Holidays sentiment to really add the rainbow effect to the card.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
