Just wanted to say THANKS!!

 Hey GSD friends...

It's DT Ashlee here today and I have a new card to share using a super cute critter from the Garden critters stamp set (also has co-ordinating dies)

To create this card I started with a white cardstock base.

I die cut the clouds and square from an old die by Simon says stamp. (I don't think this one is available anymore but it was perfect for a little sky scene for the critter!) I adhered the die cut pieces to the base some using adhesive tape and some with foam tape so that it popped up off the base.

I added a stamped sentiment also from the Garden critters set. Now it was time to add the little cutie! I Stamped, coloured and fussy cut the caterpillar and added him to the scene before completing it all with a topic of sequins.

I hope you like my latest card. Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Bug me anytime tag!

 Hey friends...

It's DT Ashlee here today and I have a new gift tag to share with you. This one features the fab set ladybugs. (Unfortunately it's out fo stock at the moment but I'm sure it will be back soon).

I love having gift tags on hand ready to add to a gift, they just add that little extra special touch!

To create this tag I started by die cutting out a base using some circle design dies with grey and red cardstocks. I layered those together and then added a heat embossed sentiment using WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder.

I coloured up two flying ladybugs and fussy cut them before adhering to the tag base with foam tape....

To complete the tag I added some sequins adhered with micro glue dots, punched a hole and threaded on some twine ready for it to tie onto a gift!!

What do you think? Want to create some tags too?

I'll be back soon with some more GSD inspiration for you...
Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Thanks A Melon!

Hello again and welcome back, it’s Karen here today.  Today I've got a summery thank you card which features the Melon Friends from Gerda Steiner Designs.

I started by stamping these two images from the set and and colouring them with Copic markers.  After fussy cutting them out, I mounted them on foam tape.

I used a patterned paper for the card front that I've had in my stash for a loooong time. The square frame is from Poppy Stamps Double Stitch Square Frames die set, and I die cut it three times and glued these together.

I did a little ink blending on the center of one of the die cut frames, using Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud ink in Clear Day.  That ink is perfect if you have trouble with getting smooth ink blends.  It may not look like it when you put it on, but as it dries, it smooths out so you don't see any splotchy areas.

To assemble the card, I glued the white square frame into position, and then glued in the ink blended center. Then I popped the images into place.

For the sentiment, I stamped and clear heat embossed onto white cardstock, the "Thanks a" portion of the sentiment, while masking off the "melon". Then I masked off the "Thanks a" portion and used Distress Oxide inks in Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness to stamp the 'melon' portion before clear heat embossing it also.  Finally, I mounted the sentiment on foam tape and adhered it just below the square frame.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you're having a great day!

Happy Summer !!

Hello, my dears,

this is Alma and today we're doing an underwater visit to the cute manatees.

I used the Oh Manatee 4x6 Clear Stamp Set. First I coloured the images with Copics. I especially like giving the manatees a bit of depth with small dots (Copics and white gelpen).

Then I smudged the background with Distress Oxide Inks (Chipped Saphire, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Evergreen Bough and Cracked Pistachio) and sprinkled with water and white gel pen.

Afterwards I put the punched background in front of it and glued everything together.

Finally, I added some sequins as a highlight.

Into the cool water!

I'm so lucky to have you by Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends,  Noga  here and I am so happy to share with you another project for Gerda Steiner Designs today.

My tag featuring the adorable Garden Critter - 4x6 Clear Stamp Set and  Garden Critter Dies. How cute is this set??

To make this tag I took a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and cut a tag die.

The background was created by blending kitscn flamingo distress oxide ink,I spired some water onto it and soaked it up with paper towel.
I also splattered some kitscn flamingo distress oxide ink with water on it.

Than I colored the sweet critter using copic markers and glued it to my panel using  mini action wobbler.

Next I stamped a greeting from Ladybugs - 4x6 Clear Stamp using white powder and heat embossed it.

I hope you enjoy the tag I created and feel inspired to create!
