Happy 2022

Hi, Margreet here.

I have worked with the Freebie which was behind Door 1 of Gerda's Advent calendar.
Here you can still grab it.
Every day a door will be opened and there are great prizes to be won.

I printed out the digi in a rather large size to fit the slimline die.
Then I coloured with copics.
I cut a dark red background with a slimline die from Carlijn Design.
For the second die with curves I used DP with little stars in various colours.
I glued all layers.
At the fur parts of the hats I put some Snow Effect. At the stars of the garland I glued 'golden' sequins.
The letters Happy are made with Typewriter Keys stamps and I coloured them in the same colours.
I hope that I have given you some inspiration to create with this cute digi.

Have a howly-Jowly Christmas

Hi, Margreet here and today I am posting a tag on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog.
I have made a tag with the clearstamp set Carol Puppies from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I printed, coloured with copics and fussy cut one of the dogs. The fur is made with puffy stuff. The dog is placed on a wobbler, so he can wobble. I made a short video to show this (click 2x).
The tag is made with a Craftables from Marianne Design. The smallest part is made with an embossing folder with music notes, for which I used Prize Ribbon distress ink from Tim Holz.

The sentiment is also from the set and is also stamped with Prize Ribbon and heatembossed twice with Prize Ribbon distress embossing glaze.
At the top a ribbon with music notes tied up with a  piece of blue scrapper's floss.
Hope you got inspired to use this fun set.
Have a great day!

You're special

Hi, Margreet here, and today I am posting a card on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog.
I am showing a card that I made with the digital stamp Cold Hedgehog.
I started with printing the digital stamp on Perfect Colouring Paper and then coloured it with copic markers. Then I fussy cut the image. With a white gelpen I have added dots on the cheeks and scarf of the hedgehog.
For the base I have used a black card and added a layer of orange/brown paper from the Basic Grey 6x6 scrapbook designer papers. I trimmed the borders with the Tim Holz deckled trimmer and distressed the edges with black soot distress ink.
The spider's web border was cut in black and placed underneath the hedgehog, who was glued with foamtape.
I stamped the text "You're special" (an old Hero Arts stamp) with the colour Habanero from Versafine. The borders were distressed with distress ink Black Soot.
Have a great day!

Hey Friend

Hi, Margreet here and today I am posting a card on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog.
This time I have made an autumn card with clearstamp set Foxes.
To make this card I started with blending various distress oxide inks and sprayed some water over it and soaked it up with a piece of kitchen paper.
Then I used a die full of dots and stars to give it an evening look.
Next I stamped the images and colored them with copic markers. Then I fussy cut them out.
The die with trees was used on woodgrain papers and glued on the background.
The grass was made with a Craftables from Marianne Design.
The cute fox and owl were glued with foam tape for some dimension.
For the text I used a paper leftover, stamped it with black ink and cut it out with a text balloon die from Craft Emotions.
And here the complete card again.
Hope you got inspired to use this fun set.
Have a great day!

cut the text in pieces and distressed with black soot distress ink. The word Christmas is die cut 3x and glued together in order to create some volume.

I printed the digistamp onto Perfect Colouring Paper, coloured Santa with copic markers and then fussy cut him.
I put some washitape under his feet to ground him.

Make a Wish

Hello, Margreet here.
I made this card with Make a Wish Mouse Blowing out Birthday Cake Candle for Gerda Steiner Designs.

The base card has a square passepartout.
I embossed the cardstock before using distress inks Fossilized Amber, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers.
The mouse and cake are colored with copics and fussy cut.
The word Happy is stamped with Versamark and then I put Distress embossing glaze Kitsch Flamingo on it and heatembossed. Unfortunately this turned out black, but hey, that's beautiful too.
With Versamark I stamped BDAY on a leftover of the cardstock and heatembossed again with Distress embossing glaze Kitsch Flamingo.
I rounded the corners of the card and the leftover and inked the edges with Picked Raspberry.
I used some sequins to finish the card.
I hope you like it. It was fun making this card.

Bunnies love carrots

Hi all, Margreet here with an Easter project for Gerda Steiner Designs.

I have made a slimline card with the cute rabbits from the Easter Bunnies Digital Stamp Bundle.
First I started with printing this little one 3 times.
Then I colored with copics and fussy cut them.
I die cut some parts for the slimline card and glued them on top of each other.
The frames also belong to this die cut set and I measured where to glue them.
Next I printed the DP with carrots, glued it and arranged the bunnies so that they looked at the ribbon with all the yummy carrots.
A little heart to finish off the card.

I hope you enjoyed this card and got inspired.
Thanks for stopping by!
