A boo to you card with a turning ghost - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today it is my turn again to post something on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs and this time I have made a mini slimline halloween card with a special effect. I have stamped the funny ghosts from the stamp set A boo to you from Gerda Steiner designs and then I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have coloured the ghosts also with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen.

The mini slimline card is made with the die set Mini slimline B (CLCZ83) from Crealies. I have made the card from white cardstock. The second layer is cut from black cardstock. The purple patterned paper is from the Classic sunburst paperpad from Sunny studio. I have cut a couple of clouds from white cardstock with the Spooky clouds (retired) from Taylored expressions and I glued those on the purple paper. I added stars that I have cut with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke from black cardstock.

The upper ghost can turn when you pull the white cord and to make this I followed a tutorial (dutch spoken) from Crealies. For the squares and circles for the mechanism I have used the die sets Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 from Crealies and Crea-nest-lies XXL 22 from Crealies. I have added a little clip with my turning ghost more down below in this post. After I glued the ghosts both on the card I have added a sentiment that I have stamped on the card with a sentiment from the set Peekin' pumpkin kitty from Gerda Steiner designs

Decorating penguin - Merry christmas - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today it is my turn again to post a card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. Because it is july I decided to make a christmas card for Christmas in july. This way I should have a nice stash of christmas cards ready in december. ;)

I have made a mini slimline card with the digital stamp Decorating penguin from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have coloured the lights with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I coloured them with a Clear glaze pen. I have fussy cut the image. With the Mini slimline Wonky stitched dies from Kat Scrappiness I have die-cut a rectangle from white cardstock. I have glued the rectangle on a rectangle that I have cut from green cardstock. Then I glued the rectangles on a pink mini slimline card. I have stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Simple script from Clearly besotted stamps. I have glued the strip with the sentiment on green cardstock and then I glued them together on the card. I have added the image with foamtape on the card. I cut a couple of stars from pink cardstock with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke and then I glued those around the image on the card.

Hedgehog with Gifts

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Hedgehog with Gifts. I wanted to take a break from the holiday cards, so this set was perfect for a simple thank you card.

There are three hedgehogs in this set, but I decided to only use two of them. Because I was only using two images, I decided to create a mini slimline card, which measures at 3 x 6. I used a scallop die cut for the main panel and then another die cut to cut out my white cardstock. I placed a black stripe across the bottom to ground the hedgehogs as well as hold the sentiment.

I placed the gift right in the middle since I thought if the hedgehogs were holding the gift, it took away from the two of them since it's rather large. I also created a mini slimline envelope using a die that matched the card. I just thought it was so perfect!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
