Let's get this party started!!

I'm here again with another creation using the fun ghosty stamps from Gerda Steiner Designs "Faboolous Birthday" stamp set.

I paired the banner prepping ghosts with a streamer die that I thought played very nicely together.  Of course, the spiders wanted to help out!!  They jumped over from another new stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs called "Boo Crew."  I don't think I'd want to walk under streamers with spiders dangling from them, but they sure do look cute here!!

I colored all the images with copic markers, using blue-violet tones to give them a glowy feel (B000, BV00, and B0000).  I used rainbow colors for the banners to match the streamers.

I'm ready to party with these little cuties.  Won't you join me?

Happy crafting~

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun - by Stacey

 Hi everyone!

Stacey with you today sharing a super fun card that I made with a stamp set that is going to be released soon from Gerda Steiner Designs called FABOOLOUS BIRTHDAY.

Fun right?
Here is how I made it...
I started by creating an A2 top folding cardbase using purple cardstock.
Next I used a die to cut out my scallop rectangle and frame. I adhered both of those pieces onto a piece of white cardstock and doodled around the inside of the frame with a black Micron pen. I stamped my images from the FABOOLOUS BIRTHDAY stamp set using black Memento Ink, colored them in with COPIC markers and fussy cut them out. I popped them up onto my card with some foam tape and added some black confetti stars.

I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of purple cardstock and heat embossed it using some black embossing powder. I trimmed it down, flagged the ends and popped it up with foam tape also.

I decided to add a little bow on one of the "ghouls" and added a little sparkle to the Disco Ball with a sparkle pen.

Copic Markers Used:
Ghost: B0000, B00, RV34, V12
Disco Ball: V000, V12, V15, V17

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I hope you have a great craft day!

Something spooky this way comes. . .

And it's not just one, but a whole gaggle of cute ghosts from Gerda Steiner Designs "Boo Crew" stamp set.

These little ghosts are soooo cute and having so much fun in their group shot!!

I used a spooky forest backdrop die cut from black sparkle cardstock.  I colored the ghosts with copic markers.  Since there were so many ghosts, I tried a mixture of colors so that they wouldn't all look alike:  BV000, BV00, BV02, B000, and B0000.

I don't think I would be scared to meet these little ghosts in the forest, would you?

Happy crafting,
Debbie

Here To Boo-gie!

Panic at the Disco? Nope… these ghouls came to party! I created this card with the new Faboolous Birthday Stamp Set, and it is bringing all the spooky sparkle—from the disco ball to the girls shaking their boo-things.

For the background, I blended Wilted Violet and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink through a stencil, then gave it an extra dose of shine with silver hot foil. Because if ghouls are going to the disco, they deserve a little sparkle!

The sentiment is made from a mix of different letter dies, and I added shadows behind the letters so they really jump off the card.

Coloring this card was quick, easy, and totally fun. Here are the Copic markers I used:

  • ·       B00, B04
  • ·       B63, FV2
  • ·       RV10

I don’t know about you, but I would absolutely dance the night away with this boo crew!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog—now go shake your groove thing!

Sandy

Happy BOO-day!

I’m not totally sure if ghosts have birthdays… but I am very sure they have Boo-days! This adorable trio showed up ready to celebrate with cupcakes, flowers, presents, and plenty of spooky-sweet party vibes. I created this card using the Happy Boo-day Stamp Set.

These little friends are partying on a cake-inspired background filled with sprinkles and sparkle—because every Boo-day bash needs a little extra magic! I arranged the sentiment lettering to look like a banner, which makes the whole card feel even more festive.

These party-ready pals were so much fun to color. I used the following Copic markers:

  • RV10, RV02 – pink
  • B0000, B000 – blue
  • V01, V12, V04 – lavender
  • Y00, Y02, Y08 – yellow
  • E31, E33, E55 – Brown

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely hoping my invitation to this Boo-day party doesn’t get lost in the haunted mail!

Thanks so much for stopping by—I hope your day is full of treats, sparkle, and maybe even a friendly little ghost or two!

Happy Halloween From The Boo Crew!

The Boo Crew has floated in to wish you a frightfully fun Happy Halloween! If this ghostly gang makes you shake, rattle, and roll, then this shaker card is definitely calling your name.

For the spooky background, I blended Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, and Villain Potion Distress Oxide inks to create a bright, eerie Halloween glow.

These little haunters were a scream to color! I used the following Copic markers:

  • C0, C1, C3, C5, C7 – gray
  • Y00, Y08 – yellow
  • Y17, YR16, YR18 – orange
  • V15, V17 – violet
  • B0000, B00, B04 – blue

I placed these friendly ghosts on a shaker pouch, which makes the whole card quick, easy, and extra fun—just give it a shake and let the spooky magic swirl! The sentiment is included with the set, so I stamped it on cardstock and trimmed it down to fit.

Thanks so much for stopping by—I hope your day is full of treats, sparkle, and maybe even a friendly little ghost or two!

Ghouls just wanna have fuh-un. . .ghouls just wanna have fun

Step aside Cindy Lauper, here come some sweet ghoul-friends ready to party on.  Excited to be here and guest designing for Gerda Steiner Designs with this new release called "Faboolous Birthday."  When I first got this set and saw the disco ball, I just knew I needed to make a spinner card.

For the spinning disco ball, I stamped out two images of the ball on silver holographic cardstock, using Staz-On black ink to make sure the ink wouldn't smear (and it didn't).

I colored the ghosts using copic markers creating an ice and blue-violet undertone with B000, BV00, and B0000.

I smile every time I look at the little ghost doing its best John Travolta Staying Alive moves!!

Happy crafting~

Knock knock. . .who's there. . .Boo!

Boo hoo? Don't cry!!  These little ghosts from Gerda Steiner Designs "Happy Boo Day" and "Faboolous Birthday" stamp sets are sure to make you smile!!

I used the knock knock, who's there? dies from Lawn Fawn to make this sweet little interactive card.  I thought the partying ghost was perfect for popping out of the tree.  And I loved adding the little peekaboo ghost coming out from behind the tree.  It just all makes me smile.  I chose to put my sentiments inside the card, but they could definitely be added to the front too.

I used distress oxide inks (villainous potion, black soot, and scattered straw) to color the background and splattered with gansai tambi starry colors and die cut the tree from black sparkle cardstock.  The ghosts were colored with copic markers:  B000, BV00, and B0000.

Knock Knock!!  Who's there?. . .Debbie
Happy crafting!!

I blended a coordinating balloon background to go with the cute character in this set holding a balloon. My background was a bit too busy, so I popped up the little ghostie on a postage die frame. Images were colored with my OLO Markers.

Load Of Thanks!

Hi everyone!

Stacey with you today sharing a super cute Thank You card that I created using a new stamp from

To create my card, I stamped out the images onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored them with my Copic Sketch Markers. Once I had them colored, I fussy cut them out and set them aside while I worked on my card foundation. I started by creating a 4.25" square shaped card using white cardstock, this size fits into an A2 envelope for easy mailing. I used a square die to cut out a piece of pink patterned paper and popped it up onto my card base with foam tape. Once I had my card front created, I started building my scene using the pieces that I had colored, popping up the kitty image with more foam tape. I stamped the sentiment, also from the Wash Day stamp set, used a die to cut it out and adhered it to my card. I finished my card with a few puffy hearts and some doodles with a white paint pen.

That kitty sure does look comfy doesn't he? haha!

Copic Colors Used:
--Washing Machine: C00, C0, C1, C2, C4--
--Basket: E40, E41, E43--
--Kitten: C00, C0, R000, R20--
--Clothes/Soap: BG10, BG11, BG13, BG32, Y11, R81, R83--

The briefs are in the wash

I had so much fun creating with Gerda Steiner Designs new stamp sets, "Brief Kitten Notes" and "Wash Day" and I'm not even a cat person, so that tells you how cute and fun these little critters are.  You can definitely stamp these little lovelies directly onto your cardstock, but I love to make things pop, and I actually enjoy fussy cutting and Gerda's critters are easy to fussy cut!!

If you look closely, you might notice that I snuck in a couple of critters from the "Grow Happiness" and the "On The Bookshelf" stamp sets.  Can you find them?  There are 3.  Teehee. . .

I couldn't resist using some kitty craft paper from my stash. . .of course a kitty laundry room would have fishy wallpaper, right?!?

Don't forget to open the cabinet doors for a peek inside. . .

Hope you have as much fun with these sweet kitties as I did.  Enjoy and have an awesome crafting day!!

Debbie
