Paint Splattered Birthday Card by Karla

Hello friends! Karla back today with a sweet birthday card using the adorable Cat With Balloons digital stamp from the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop. I think adults and kids alike would love this card - from the colourful balloons to the messy, fun background and of course the adorable kitten! I coloured this guy up with Copic Markers in colours to match my background created with Dina Wakley Gloss Spray paints and Distress Oxide Mists.

I added a frame backed with fun foam for dimension and stamped with a scripty word stamp from my stash. A cute Party Time Pebbles puffy sticker and some colourful sequins finish off this bright birthday card!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful, safe and crafty week. Have fun checking out what catches your eye in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop!

Big Hugs,
Karla

SMILE....!!

Hey crafty friends....

It's Ashlee here today and I've got a card to put a SMILE on your face using the super cute turtle from the "Gerda Steiner designs" stamp set "Hello friend"...

To create this card I started with a green cardstock base and stamped the CP Composition notebook background on it using Melon Ice ink...

I then die cut the MFT big SMILE sentiment using grey cardstock and added each letter to the base on a slight angle...

I die cut the MFT trendy tag die and stamped the Composition background on it using the same Melon Ice ink colour, a grey frame and some black/white twine finished off the tag element...

I then added the turtle that I coloured up using Copic markers along with a touch of sequins!!

I hope you like this card and it brings you a little happy!!
Hugz Ashlee

Bee Strong!

Hi, Margreet here.
I created a card with the digital stamp Bee Strong! from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I started with making my own design paper. I used distress oxide inks in rainbow colours and a Dutch Doobadoo stencil.
Printed, colored the image with copics markers, fussy cut it and glued it to the background.
I put some Stickles on the wings.
I mat the sentiment on a piece of cardstock and glued it with foam tape.
For the final touch I glued all on a yellow cardstock background.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you get inspired to create.
Stay safe, strong! and healthy.

I Love You Grandma FREEBIE Card by Karla

Hello friends! Karla back today with a sweet card just for Grandma!! I spotted this free printable I Love You Grandma in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop and was so happy to colour it up with Copics - just in time to send it out for a sweet Mothers' Day/Birthday Card to my mother-in-law from my girls! Both of these special days fall very close to one another, and even though we are sending extra cards along I thought she'd appreciate this one that the kiddos can tuck a note or two in as well. I actually printed four of these card fronts off on an 8 1/2 x 11" piece of white 65 lb cardstock - so the girls can even colour their own and send a personalized scene!

I just love how many sweet Gerda Steiner Designs images you'll find tucked into this one scene! I added some white gel pen highlights, some diecut flowers and a few drops of Nuvo Glitter Gel along with a couple sequins a pretty butterfly. The pretty purple stitched frame topped it off and I have a wonderful Spring card ready to mail out to a special Grandma!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful, safe and crafty week - and have fun printing off this FREEBIE or checking out what catches your eye in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop!

Big Hugs,
Karla

Hello!

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Happy Bee Day. Isn't it such a fun and cute stamp set?

I wanted to stamp out a ton of flowers to color up, which is what I did and cut them out along with super cute bee image. I colored them up using blues and purples to have a color theme and I love the volume of flowers for this scene... they are so fun to color.

I used a dome die cut to create the scene within the shape. I decided to use a piece of patterned paper behind the die cut to give a bit of interest. Isn't it so cute and fun? During this shelter in place, I really want to create fun cards to help brighten up everyone's day. I hope that it helped bring a smile to your face!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Feeling Cooped Up?

Happy Thursday everyone!  I hope you are safe and healthy at home.

Our world is such a different place right now. I don’t know about you but I’m starting to have cabin fever!  I just want to venture out and visit my favorite stores.

So in honor of this feeling I thought I’d use our adorable digital “Chick Mom” stamp.  I thought that Chick Mom needed a few more chicks so I layered it with the “Kitten with Chicks” digital image – I deleted the kitty from the scene and put the Chick Mom on the front layer.

I colored all my digital layers using Copic Markers. I wanted it look like the scene might be in a barn or chicken coop so I added lots of hay.  What do you think of my black and white chicken??

Thanks for stopping by!  I’d love to hear what you think of this fun card?

Crafty hugs,
~ Ally ~

Santa Owl

Hi, Margreet here.
A friend of mine asked me for a bookmark to give as a Christmas present.
I made this one with Gerda Steiner Designs Santa Owl which you can find HERE.
I printed the digistamp, colored with copics and put some Glossy Accents on the eyes.
Then I fussy cut the stamp and glued it on the bookmark.
I then put liquid appliqué on the fur and pompon and heated it.
The fun ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons, is called Christmas Owl Ribbon - Owls on Line and can be found HERE.
The lowest part is punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
Hope you like it!
Have a great day and stay safe.

Hang in there....!!

Hello my friends...

It's Ashlee here with you today with some inspiration using the fabulous "Sneaky raccoons" set....

With everything thats going on with the global pandemic I thought it would be nice to create a fun card for a friend just to let them know I'm thinking of them and to hang in there in this hard/challenging time!!

I think these sneaky raccoons would put a smile on anyones face don't you??!!

I started off by creating a woodgrain look base using an MFT background stamp and some Grey ink on a white card base with the bottom masked off...

I then die cut the window in the middle using a Heffy Doodle die called Fancy nancy frames...

Using some distress oxide inks in Twisted citron and Mowed lawn I added some colour to peek through the die cut window!!

The sneaky raccoons are all coloured up with Copic and adhered to the base using different levels of foam tape for added dimension....

Using some WOW! opaque bright white I embossed the sentiment "hang in there" on some black card and fussy cut them out to add into the window then finishing it all off with some Green Mountain CP sequins!!

Hope you enjoy this new card and it brings a smile to your face too...
Happy crafting and stay safe everyone, hugs Ashlee
