Wheek, wheek....!!

 Hello friends, it's Ashlee here....

I hope you are all well and getting in lots of crafty time!!

I'm stopping in with a card to share using the "Wheek, wheek, wheek" stamp set....

I stamped the super cute guinea pig straight onto the card base and added some colouring to his fur using Parkoo shop alcohol markers...

I then stamped a sentiment below him also from the same stamp set....

I thought it would be fun to have the guinea in a pile of yummy lettuce leaves so I stamped a whole bunch, coloured them with the Parkoo markers and cut them all out...

I attached some of the lettuce leaves with foam tape to give a few different layers of dimension!!

Then it was all finished off with a touch of sequins stuck down using micro glue dots...

A card perfect for that special friend!!

Time for cake....!!

 Hey my friends...

Ashlee here, I have an underwater theme slimline card to share with you all today featuring the stamp set "Big bite"...

This stamp set is such a fun one with all the underwater creatures and a sea cake!!

To create this card I stared with a slimline base and stamped directly onto the base
two of the sharks...

I then used a stencil to create some water around the sharks using some blue ink just on the top portion of the card!!

I stamped a sentiment underneath the water also from the big bite set...

Then it was time to add a yummy cake that I coloured using Parkoo alcohol markers and finishing it all off with a touch of sequins!!

I hope you enjoy this new slimline card...

Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee

Graduation owl - Larissa

Goodmorning, today I am posting a card that I have made with an image from Gerda Steiner designs. On my card I have used the digital stamp Graduation owl from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have applied Glossy accents on the eyes of the owl and then I have fussy cut the image.

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies I have die-cut black and white striped paper from the Do what you love pretty paper bloc (PK9149 - retired) from Marianne design. On a red card I first glued a layer of black cardstock and then I added the patterned paper on the card. I have die-cut the sentiment (Hooray diploma) from red cardstock with the Smalt alfabet (D190603) from Gummiapan and glued it on the card. After I glued the image with foamtape on the card I have decorated the card with stars that I have cut from black cardstock with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke.

Interactive Slimline Card *Video*

Hi there, it's Karen here today.  I’ve got an interactive slimline card to share with you that I originally had intended to use in the Heffy Doodle/Gerda Steiner Designs blog hop that happened yesterday. But I had a creative burst and made a second card which I liked better for the blog hop, so I’m sharing this first one with you today.

I’ve used the Deeply stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs and paired it with the You Go, Gull stamp set from Heffy Doodle.  I love how these stamps work so well together! I have a video for you if you want to see how I made this card and the bonus is, you don’t need any interactive dies for it!

So to watch the video, PLEASE CLICK HERE

Thank you for joining me and I hope you’re having a great day!

Thanks a Melon

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Melon Friends. It is such a cute summery set that I just thought it was perfect for a picnic scene.

There's a line of watermelon slices in this stamp set and I thought it was perfect to go on top of a picnic table. I just drew out a simple table with a picnic cloth on top. I actually fussy cut the table with the watermelons as well as the bear holding the watermelon because I decided that I wanted to use some stencils for the background.

Using a spring scene builder stencil, I created a super simple background of a tree and the grassy area for the picnic table to sit. It was so easy to do and then I added some blue into the sky to add some color. Finishing off the card, I just added the sentiment in the sky to fill up that space. That little bear is so freaking cute, isn't he?

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

You Grow Girl!

Hi and welcome, it’s Karen here today.  I have a really quick and easy card today made with the brand new stamp set “Grow Happiness”  from Gerda Steiner Designs. This set is full of plants and one little kitten that managed to sneak into a flower pot, as well as some sweet sentiments.

I copic coloured all my images - I may have had every shade of green I own, out to play! I die cut a window from white cardstock, but if you don’t own any window dies, you could just draw in a window or a simple room scene.  I pencilled in the area where the window would be, and then masked off the area outside this. I ink blended a cloudy sky with a cloud stencil, removed the masking tape and then glued my die cut window into place over the ink blended area.  Then I arranged all my potted plants and the kitten around the window. Finally, I stamped and clear heat embossed the sentiment. I love how all the sentiments in this stamp set are so uplifting and positive. Definitely something we can all use these days.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a very happy, creative day!

With the Smile large sentiment dies (retired) from Stamping bella I have cut the word smile three times from black cardstock and after I glued the words on top of each other and then I glued them on the card.
