Christmas in july - Fa-la-la-llamas - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today it is my turn again to post a card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs and this time I have made a christmas card with the image of the kid llama from the digital stampset Fa-la-la-llamas from Gerda Steiner designs. I know it is very soon to make a christmas card, but I always try to start early, so I will be finished with making cards before december and that way my december is so much more relaxed! I have printed the image and then I coloured it with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. I have coloured the christmas lights and the white parts of the christmas hat with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I applied Crystal glaze from Nuvo on it.

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies I have die-cut the rectangle from green patterned paper from the Candy land paperpack (retired) from My favorite things and then I glued it on a white card. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the clearset Christmas characters from Clearly besotted stamps n white cardstock and then I cut it into a bannershape. With a black fineliner I added faux stitching on the banner and then I glued it with foamtape on the card. I decorated the card with a couple of white pearls.

I have stamped a sentiment from the Sneaky racoons Clear stamp set from Gerda Steiner designs on the card and then I have fussy cut the image.

I have fussy cut a strip of rainbow stripes from patterned paper from the Spring sunburst paperpack from Sunny studio and then I glued it on my card. I have used foamtape to add the image on the card. I have decorated the card with enamel hearts with colours that match with my patterned paper. Happy easter - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new card that I am also posting on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs.

I have made a card with the Easter bunnies digital stamp bundle from Gerda Steiner designs. I edited the image on the computer to add the eggs on the sign the bunny is holding. The eggs are also in the stampset. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. With Peacock feathers Distress ink I have made a background on a white card. From white cardstock I have cut a grassborder with the Fresh cut grass die-namics (retired) from My favorite things and coloured it with Mowed lawn distress ink. I have stamped a sentiment from the set So much to say (retired) from Clearly besotted stamps a couple of times on the background with Wilted violet, Salty ocean, Mowed lawn, Mustard seed, Spiced marmelade and Candied apple Distress oxide ink. I decided to go for Distress oxide inks, because they stamp very well. I have glued the bunny and the grass border with foamtape on the card.

Easter bunnies digital stamp bundle - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new card on my own blog and also on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a card with a digital stamp from the Easter bunnies digital stamp bundle from Gerda Steiner designs. Although the image is from a easter bundle I decided to use it on a thank you card, because that is also possible with this image. On the sign that the bunny is holding I have stamped a sentiment from the Sneaky raccoons (clear stamp) from Gerda Steiner designs with black ink. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have drawn dots on the cheeks of the bunny with a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image.

On a kraft card I glued a piece of striped rainbow patterned paper from the Over the rainbow paperpad from My favorite things. With a black fineliner I have doodled lines on the edges of the patterned paper. With the Planner pocket 3 - Tags & toppers from Elizabeth Craft designs Planner essential dies I have diecut a tag from white cardstock. The top part of the tag is cut from purple patterned paper from the Over the rainbow paperpad from My favorite things. I also doodled lines with the black fineliner on the white part of the tag. I have glued the tag on my card. With the Punch die daisies (CR1501) from Marianne design I have cut a couple of tiny flowers from the purple patterned paper and I glued those on the card and the sign from the bunny. I have decorated the flowers with mini white pearls.

Quick & Easy Holiday Tags

Happy Saturday everyone!  I’m Allison Cope and I’m here to share a fun project that I created for a donation to my son’s school.

This is a brand new school for my son as we had moved in the summertime here to Southern Alberta so they have events different from other schools we’ve been in. So I found out last week that they need donations for their Christmas Market which allows the kids to shop for donated gifts for their loved ones for a small fee.

So I am going to donated some handmade items like some crocheted hats, packages of handmade cards. Plus, the school indicated they needed stuff like wrapping paper, tags and other wrapping supplies. So today I’m to start to make a cluster of tags to send for them to use.

I grabbed a few holiday digital images from the “November/December 2016 Digital Stamp Bundle” and also from the “December/January 2016/2017 Digital Stamp Bundle”.  Digital bundles are a great way to get a lot of fun images for one low price!!!

So grab a warm drink and join me at my crafty desk today…

So here’s another quick look at all the fun tags I made today…

Thanks for joining me!  I hope this inspires you to begin creating all kinds of fun goodies for the holidays today!

Get well

Hello, Margreet here.
I was in need of a get well card and decided to use this cute dog from
Originally it belongs to last year's Halloween Kids Digital Stamps Set, but I think it can also be used for a get well card.
I started with die cutting the ticket die from Studio Light. The base in white cardstock and dotted papers at the top.
'Beterschap' means 'get well' in Dutch and is a die from Joy!crafts. I glued a yellowish and white die cut on each other.

This is the card when opened. At the left you see the plaster, which belongs to the 'Beterschap' die. This time I glued first the white die cut and the yellowish on top.
This is a close up of the sweet dog, colored with copics and fussy cut, sitting on a piece of washitape and with some gauze behind him.
I hope to have shown you that you can use images for various purposes.
Wishing you a nice day!
xxx Margreet

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs.

This time I have made a card with the digital stamp Sick bear from the January/February digital stamp bundle from Gerda Steiner designs. Easter bunnies digital stamp bundle - Larissa

Hello, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new project with a digital stamp from Gerda Steiner designs. My mother designed a box for chocolate easter eggs for me with the silhouette and I made a matching tag for it. On the tag I used a digital stamp from the Easter bunnies digital stamp bundle from Gerda Steiner designs.

Like I said the box is made with the silhouette from white cardstock and mica. To decorate the box I have die-cut a couple of grass borders from green dotted design paper that I bought from the Lidl a while ago. I used the Grassy fields die-namic from My favorite things to die-cut the borders. I have die-cut a couple of tiny flowers from yellow design paper and glued those on the grass edge.

I have made a tag for my box. On the tag I used an image from a bunny from the Easter bunnies digital stamp bundle from Gerda Steiner designs on the tag. I have coloured the bunny with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and the white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. From white cardstock I have die-cut a tag with the Tag along die collection from Clearly besotted. I coloured the tag with Broken china Distress ink. I have die-cut a grass border from green dotted design paper from a paperpack that I bought once from the Lidl with the Grassy fields die-namic from My favorite things. I have die-cut a couple of tiny flowers from yellow design paper from the Classic gingham paper pad van Sunny studio with a Flower die from Action. I used yellow bakers twine to hang the tag onto the box.

Howdy all!  I’m Allison Cope and I’m here today to share a video where I pile a whole lot of critters into one fun birthday card and color it up in front of your eyes!

For today’s card I’ll be using the following digital stamps; “Birthday Bear”, “Coffee Mouse” (our FREE digi right now!!), “Cat with Balloons”, the bunny holding the sign from the “Easter Bunnies Digital Stamp Bundle”, “Bunny with Carrot” and finally, “Penguin with Heart”! I know… that’s SEVEN digital stamps all on ONE card!

I decided NOT to speed up the coloring on this so you could hear all the details of my coloring process.  So grab a cup of your favorite drink and join me in my craftroom for a rather long video today.  Trust me… it’ll be worth it!

Happy Easter with New Bunny Bundle

Hello friends! Karla back today with a sweet Easter card using the new Easter Bunnies Digital Stamp Bundle in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop! This is a super cute set full of awesome Easter images that you can print out, cut, layer and create lots of projects with - over and over! I usually start by adding the digital images to a Word document, and I can easily drag them to the desired size. I fill a page and then print in fast draft (which lays down a little less ink) on 65lb white cardstock. Then I have a quick and easy sheet full of images that I can quickly print over and over. You can use Copics or any alcohol based markers or grab coloured pencils. Waterbased markers are not the best because of the ink - but play around with your colouring mediums and see what you like!

Easter Bunnies Digital Stamp Bundle
Today, I started off by colouring this adorable little bunny pulling his wagon with Copics and Prismacolor Markers. You even get the grass in this bundle so I layered it behind the bunny popped up with foam dots. I coloured and layered on the pretty eggs so they appear to be inside the wagon.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment that coordinated from a set in my stash and added a few more sequins and a tiny felt heart. This card is ready to send to a friend for Easter!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the shop to check out this amazing Easter Bunnies Digital Stamp Bundle and get started on your Easter crafting. Have a wonderful week friends 💜💙💛

Karla

Glow-in-the-Dark Witch

Hi there,

it's Tanja here and this is my third creation using the new Gerda Steiner Designs Halloween Kids Digital Stamp Bundle and on this card I used all the accessories provided in the bundle:

  • color the scene using all the accessories from the Gerda Steiner Designs Halloween Kids Digital Stamp Bundle with watered-down Distress Inks (Fossilized Amber, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Chipped Sapphire, Pine Needles), Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • add white highlights to the sentiment with a white gel pen

What makes this card extra special are the glow-in-the dark Nuvo Drops Banana Split that I added as stars - I hope you can see it in this last photo. It was kind of hard to take a picture in the dark :o)

Have a wonderful day.

Hugs,

Happy Halloween Kids

Hi there,

it's Tanja here and this is my second creation using the new Gerda Steiner Designs Halloween Kids Digital Stamp Bundle and on this card I used the little monster and the tiny tiger:

  • color the scene created using images from the Gerda Steiner Designs Halloween Kids Digital Stamp Bundle with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers to lay down a base coat of color and then add extra shading using Prismacolor Colored Pencils
  • mat the panel onto a piece of patterned paper from the Graphic 45 An eerie Tale 6x6 paper pad before adhering it to a cardbase
  • googly eyes will add a little something extra special to the project

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs,
