Owl rather be with you - Owl you doing - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This week I have made a card with the clear stamp set Owl rather be with you from Gerda Steiner designs. I have stamped one of the owls and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the image.

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies I have cut a circle from green patterned paper from the Spring chic paperpack (retired) from Me to you and I glued it on a kraft card. I used 2 smaller circles dies from the set Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies and I used them cut a circle frame from kraft cardstock. I have glued the image on the circle with the patterned paper and then I glued the circle frame on top of it. I used a black fineliner to doodle lines on the edges of the kraft card. From black cardstock I have cut a funny sentiment with the Alphabet 2 Lowercase (1075-retired) from Elizabeth Craft and I glued it under the image on the card.

Happy OWL-oween!

Happy Thursday everyone!  I'm Allison Cope.

Halloween is fast approaching!  So I'm hard at work getting all those fun cards ready to go into the mail in a few weeks.

I thought I'd color up this adorable Owl on Pumpkin digital stamp image using some Polychromos Pencils.

And I thought he needed a whimsical scene to be in too so I made him a purely die cut back drop.

Thanks for dropping by!  I hope you're getting some card making done this week!

Go get inky!

Owl in a heart with Kaja

Hi there,
It's Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I have prepared a cute card for you!

Take a look:
I decided to go with a clean and simple look, so I started out by inkblending a heart towards the left edge of the card. I used distress oxides since they are really reach in color.

Next, I stamped out the cute owl from the Foxes stamp set and color it in using alcohol markers. I used gray for the owl since I wanted to make it a snowy owl.
Then, I die cut a heart in white and cut the top part off. I stamped the sentiment that reads 'you are the best' and put the owl image at the top of white piece.

I popped the owl up using foam tape and then I added some black crystals to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for joining me!
Kaja

A sweet lollipop

Hi there!
Francesca from Unarcobalenodicolori here.
I'd like to show you my second make as GD for Gerda Steiner Designs.

I created a lollipop card featuring the super cute owl from the "FOXES" clear stamp set.

The owl is the main character of my card... I immediately fell in love with it!

I colored the stamp with Zig clean color real brush and colored pencils. The details were made with white gel pen.

I embellished my card with the stars of the stamp set, little banners and enamel dots.

Thank you so much for your attention!
Hope you have a nice day!

Hugs
Francesca

Who's thinking about you! - Larissa

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I made a valentines card and that is why I used a lot of hearts and pink (but you probably already saw that ;) ).

I have used one of the cute owls from the set Owl rather be with you from Gerda Steiner designs on my card. After I stamped the owl, I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. With a white gelpen I have added a couple of dots on the cheek of the owl. Then I have fussy cut the image.
With the Square CDECD0022 Cutting dies from Card deco essentials I have die-cut a square from white cardstock. I added faux stitching with a black pen. From a couple of sheets from the Classic gingham, Striped silly and Polka dot parade paperpack from Sunny studio I have die-cut a couple of little hearts with the Heart CDECD0024 Cutting dies from Card deco essentials. I have stitched the hearts with embroidery thread on the white sqaure and then I glued the square with foamtape on a white card. Inspirational Foxes!...

Hello everyone, DT member Jayne here, dropping by with a FOXY post featuring the new "Foxes" stamp set.

When I saw the acorn wreath, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it...

The cute little fox and wreath were coloured with Copic markers, cut out and popped up on to foam tape for added dimension. The background was ink blended with Tumbled Glass Oxide ink and splattered with Gold Acrylic paint. The sentiments were stamped directly to the card panel and then mat and layered with Gold mirror card.

For the second card I wanted to ink a night scene because I thought it would look good to stamp the sentiment in the Moon...

Once again, I used Copic markers to colour the cute critters and I ink blended the background elements using Oxide inks.

Be sure to pop over to Gerda's shop for this stamp set and many more!...

Happy crafting and see you soon xxx

Fall is here - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting my first card as an official member from the Gerda Steiner designs design team. Gerda asked me for the team. I am going to make cards with new stampset and I really love it!

My first official card is made with the stampset Fall in love from Gerda Steiner designs. I stamped both the tree and the owl couple and then I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut both images. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies I have cut a large square from white cardstock and then I cut a smaller square out of the large square, With the Fresh cut grass border die from My favorite things (retired) I cut a grass border from the smaller square. I have coloured the grass with Mowed lawn distress ink. With the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink I made a sky background on the upper part of the smaller sqaure. I placed the smaller sqaure back again in the larger square and then I adhered everything on a white card with foamtape. I adhered the tree and the owls with foamtape on the card. I have used a sentiment from the Fall in love stampset from Gerda Steiner designs for the card. I coloured the sentiment with Scattered straw and Spiced marmelade distress ink to give it a fall look that matches really well with the images on the card.

Guest design - Who's thinking about you

Hello everyone!

Alexandra here today from made by Alexandra and I want to share a card with you today using two adorable digital stamps from December / January bundle digital stamp created by Gerda!

For this card I colored the girl and the cute owl using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and the fussy cut it leaving a white border.

For the background I wanted to create a little scene so I die cut a border with houses and trees. First I ink blended a bit the panel to create the sky then adhered the die cut border.

I adhered the images using foam tape and also the sentiment which you can find in the digital bundle as well.

I hope you have a great New Year !
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
