Valentine penguins - xoxo - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a valentines/love card with a sweet penguin from the clearstamp set Valentine penguins from Gerda Steiner designs. I have stamped the image with Versafine clair nocturne ink on Florence watercolour paper smooth from Vaessen creative and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder. I have coloured the image with Distress inks and then I have fussy cut the image.

I have die-cut a square with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies from black and white striped paper from the Do what you love pretty paper bloc (PK9149 - retired) from Marianne design. I used the Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 from Crealies to cut a scalloped square from black cardstock and I glued the patterned paper on top of it and then I glued them on a red card. from a scrap of the red cardstock I have die-cut 3 hearts with a die from the set Snijmallen grote teksten "Knuffel" from Carlijn design and I used a hole punch to add 2 holes in each heart. I threaded them with black card and then I glued them on the card. I made 2 tiny bows from the black card cord and glued those on the ends of the banner. This looks almost like the little banner the penguin is holding. I glued the penguin with foamtape on the card. The sentiment is die-cut from the red cardstock with the Mini alpha & number dies (retired) from CC. Designs.

Be Mine Monster & Bear Cuties by Karla

Hello! Karla back today with a couple adorable images from the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop - the first one is the sweet Monster Holding Letter digital stamp who can't wait to deliver his special envelope and the second is this super cute Valentine Bear digital stamp, which is a FREEBIE! right now!!

I just got the Simple Stories Vintage Valentine collection pack and I couldn't wait to colour these guys up to match it! I printed them out on 65 lb white cardstock, put through my printer as plain paper, and coloured them up with Copic Markers. I added some glittery and white gel pens for details and fussy cut them out, leaving a small white border.

I used some dies from my stash and added various stitching details and then tucked in a few stickers and glued on some pretty sequins.

Inside, I added one of the 2x2 cards from the cut apart page and glued on some hearts cut from the heart border that I used on the front. Now my special card is ready to send to someone very special!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop to check out all the adorable images and stock up some sweet Valentine cuties to colour. Have an amazing week friends!

Hugs,
Karla

I like you "beary" much - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and here I am again with a new card for the blog from Gerda Steiner designs.

I have made a card with the clear stamp set Lovely panda's from Gerda Steiner designs. Like I have done before I coloured the panda this time like a normal brown bear with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I added dots on the cheek of the bear with a white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the image. On a tiny white card I added a strip of red design paper from the Tiny hearts brights paper pack from My favorite things (retired). With foamtape I glued a layer of white cardstock on the card. I used the Corner chomper to make round corners on the bottom of the card. With a black fineliner I doodled lines on the white cardstock. I glued the image with foamtape on the card and then I stamped a sentiment from the set Lovely panda's from Gerda Steiner designs next to it. I have die-cut a little embellishment from red cardstock and glued it on the card. I made a tiny bow from white ribbon and placed it on the embellishment.

Penguin with hearts digital stamp on a chocolate box - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new project on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a box for a chocolate bar. I designed the box myself, because I wanted it to have the perfect size for my chocolate. The box is made from pink cardstock. Then I decorated the box with a couple of penguins. I have printed the Penguin with heart digital stamp from Gerda Steiner designs 8 times. I mirrored 4 of the images, so they have a bit different position. I have coloured the penguins with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have coloured the hearts with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I added black sticker letters on the hearts. Then I have fussy cut all the images. I have cut a strip of paper from the striped patterned paper from the Do what you love pretty paper bloc from Marianne design and then I glued it on black cardstock. Then I glued everything on the back of the box. I have glued the images on the box and now they form the sentiment I love you.

The big tag for the other side of the box is diecut a with a die from the set Planner essential dies: 1607 Planner essentials 5 from Elizabeth craft designs from the striped patterned paper. I cut a hole inforcer from pink cardstock with the Planner essential dies: 1736 Reinforcement variety pack from Elizabeth craft designs and I glued it on the tag. I tied black jute thread onto the tag and then I glued it on the box. On a strip of pink cardstock I have stamped a sentiment from the set Essential sentiments from My favorite things with black ink and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder. Then I glued the sentiment on the card.

We're Two Peas in a Pod - Peas Be Mine

Hello and happy Monday Everyone!!  Tina here from Cards & Coffee Time.  I have a fun project to share with you today using the cutest ever Peas Be Mine stamp set.  I love this stamp and was so excited to create a card with it as it brings back sweet memories... We never said "please" we always said "peas" when our kids were little.  Now our beautiful girls who are about a year and a half apart (they are definitely 2 peas in a pod) are barely teenagers and every so often we will catch them saying "peas" instead of "please", it drives them crazy when we call them on it but for us it just melts our hearts and puts a huge smile on our faces:)

I decided to use my Zig markers to watercolor my two peas in a pod.  Then added a bit of purple to my background with Dusty Concord Distress Oxide ink.  I love purple and green, I think they compliment each other beautifully.  For finishing touches I added a bit of sparkle behind my die cut background.  You can watch the tutorial on how I created this card down below.  I hope this put's a smile on your face:)

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a beautiful day!  Hugs, Tina

{heart} u

Hi there! It's Cathy here sharing a super simple card today with this cute little pig from the More Than Chocolate stamp set. With Valentine's Day just a few days away, there's still time to make a quick and easy card or two!

To start, cut a panel for the card front from white cardstock and ink it up using your ink of choice. For this one, I used Distress Inks in Victorian Velvet, Tattered Rose and Spun Sugar.

Stamp the sentiment from this set at the bottom. I stamped mine in Versamark and heat embossed with a dark brown embossing powder.

Die-cut a heart from white cardstock and ink it using your choice of medium. For mine, I airbrushed it with Copics (R85, R83, R81).

Die-cut the letter u from light pink cardstock or stamp the letter u and fussy cut around it. Consider using a Thicker if you have some of those.

Color this adorable piggy with Copics and fussy cut around him. After adhering him, add a few shadows underneath with neutral gray Copics.

Super easy! Hope you enjoyed and see you again soon!

Easy Peasy!

Looking for a fast and easy love themed card? Valentine's Day is just a few days away. It's crunch time! This card can be made in minutes and easily mass produced!

Here is how you make it -

1. Stamp and color the Peas Be Mine stamp set then fussy cut.

2. Create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base. Use temporary adhesive and place fussy cut peas where you would like on the base.

3. Stamp sentiments. Remove the peas and  use light gray markers to color a light shadow under where your peas will be on your card.

4. Adhere dimensional adhesive to your peas and attach to card.

5. Use two rectangle dies to create a frame and apply it to the card base.

See, EASY PEASY!

Have fun creating with this cute little set!

None-traditional Valentine's Day card by Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends, Noga here and I am so excited to be guest designing again with Gerda Steiner Designs today.

My card featuring the adorable Peas be Mine 3x4 Clear Stamp Set

To make this card I took an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock.

The background sky was created with clouds stencil and tumbled glass distress oxide ink.

Than I took another A2 panel of white cardstock and create an heart in the center with heart die, I glued the two panels to each other with a foam tape.

Next I colored the images using copic markers. I glued the images to my panel with foam tape for dimension.

Next I stamped a greeting from the stamp set using black ink.

To finish off, I added two little hearts for decoration.

I hope you enjoy the card I created and feel inspired to create!

Thank you for visiting the blog.

Have a great day!

Noga.

Penguin with Heart

Hello crafty friends...Jayne here!

Today I would like to share with you a card featuring a Gerda Steiner Digital image

This cute little adorable Penguin was coloures using Copic markers, I then fussy cut him out and popped him up on foam tape. I punched out a few tiny hearts to decorate the card and heat embossed the sentiment (which was from the MFT Penguins in Paradise stamp set. The Card is an A2 size (4.25"x 5.5") and has the middle of the card front removed and replace with clear acetate. The inside of the card says 'You make my heart melt' (also from Penguins in Paradise stamp set)

Isn't he just the cutest? and so perfect for all your Valentine projects!!

One Layer Valentine's Day Card - Lovely Pandas

Happy Saturday! It's Rebekah here, bringing you a one layer, easy Valentine's Day Card! I was so excited to see this week that the Lovely Pandas stamp set was back in stock at the Gerda Steiner store! It's easy to see why this set has been so popular. These images are simply adorable and so fun to color!

This is a one layer, quick and easy Valentine's Day card that would be perfect to give to your significant other, a child or even a friend. There is a little masking involved but really the process is simple!

Step 1. On a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 folded card base, stamp the hearts image towards the bottom of the card. Stamp the hearts again on masking paper and fussy cut.

Step 2. Place the hearts mask over the hearts on the card base then stamp the panda. Remove the mask and color the images with your whichever color medium you would like! I used Copic markers.

Step 3. Mask off 1/4 inch around the edge of the card then using a light gray ink, stamp the 'XOXO' sentiment randomly. Get close to but don't stamp over your panda! Stamps sentiment in black ink.

Step 4. Use a fine a fine tip marker to draw a loose frame around the edge of the card. I did not try to get this straight at all. The fact that the line is not perfect adds to the whimsical feel of the images!

One of the best things about this card is that is is flat - perfect for mailing!

Be sure to visit the Gerda Steiner shop and get this set before its gone...AGAIN!

Penguin Valentine Card with Karla

Hello friends! It's Karla back today with a sweet Valentine card for a friend using the Penguin With Heart digital stamp. One of the great things about digi stamps is the ability to easily and quickly resize, creating a cute little friend for this guy! Another bonus is instant gratification - click and print! I decided to create an easy z-fold card that looks like it's super fancy 😉 I added patterned valentine papers from my stash and a diecut heart before layering on this sweet little pair coloured with Prismacolor and Copic Markers.

Here are the instructions to make the base: Cut a rectangle 4"x12" long and score it at 4" and 8" and fold it back and forth. Cut a diagonal line from the 4" fold at the back to a mark 2" down on the front of the card.

Along the bottom of the card and inside I used sentiments from the Gerda Steiner Designs Valentine Penguins Clear Stamp Set. I love combining stamp sets!! I used a stamp set from my stash to add a little love message inside the penguins' hearts.

The stamped hearts are from the GSD clear stamp set as well, and I added a few more sequins and some washi to complete my card. This is going to be a great card to pass along to a special friend!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop to see what fun stamps make your heart beat faster!! Have an awesome week friends 💕

Hugs, Karla
