Card 1:
I stamped the reindeer, the Santa and the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink on an A2 watercolour cardstock. Next, I stamped the images on a masking sheet, fussy cut them and masked the images. I then drew the wooden signpost on both the cardstock and a masking sheet, to mask it. After that, I used Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, Cracked Pistachio, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks to colour the sky. I then splattered white paint over it to create the stars.
Next, I coloured the ground using Hickory Smoke Distress ink. Then, I unmasked the images and coloured them with Zig Markers and applied Distress Stickles on the Santa’s hat and suit. Once this dried, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
Card 2:
First, I cut the window from an A2 watercolour paper using the Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window by MFT. Then, I stamped the gift and masked it before stamping the Christmas tree. After this, I masked the tree too and used Tumbled Glass Distress ink to colour the glass. Then, I used Epi De Ble Stencil by Carabelle Studio along with Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink and a mini ink blender to add texture to the wall. For the ground, I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink.
Next, I stamped the Santa using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and fussy cut it. Then, I coloured all the images with Zig markers and applied Distress Stickles on the Santa’s hat and suit. While this was drying, I stamped the sentiment on the A2 cardstock using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and then assembled the card.
Thank you for visiting the blog. I had a lot of fun making these card and I hope I inspired you today. Have a wonderful day.
