Holiday friends - Thinking of you this christmas - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today it is my turn again to post a card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a Christmas slimline card with the clear stamp set Holiday friends from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the images, but the Holiday friends die set is also available to use if you prefer those.

I have cut a rectangle from kraft cardstock with the Slimline marquee die (WSD347) from Whimsy stamps. I have glued it on black cardstock and then I glued them together on a kraft slimline card. In the left and right hole I have glued the images with foamtape. In the hole in the middle I have stamped a sentiment from the set Holiday friends van Gerda Steiner designs with Versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I have die-cut a couple of stars from red and green cardstock with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke and I glued those around the images and the sentiment.

Holiday friends - Thinking of you this Christmas - Larissa

Hello, Today it is my turn again to post a card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a christmas card with the clear stamp set Holiday friends from Gerda Steiner designs. I have stamped the santa on a separate piece of paper and I have stamped the trees with the help of masking paper on the card. Then I have coloured all the images with my Polychromos pencils.

I have fussy cut the Santa image, but there are dies available for the Holiday friends set if you prefer those. I have coloured the sky with Tumbled glass distress ink and glued Santa with foamtape on the card. I have made the snow on the card with a white gelpen. Then I have stamped a sentiment from the set Holiday friends from Gerda Steiner designs on the card.

Merry Christmas - Guest Designer Joy

Hey there! It’s me Joy back again to share my cards as a guest designer for Gerda Steiner Designs. I made two cards using the adorable Holiday Friends Stamp set.

Card 1:
I stamped the reindeer, the Santa and the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink on an A2 watercolour cardstock. Next, I stamped the images on a masking sheet, fussy cut them and masked the images. I then drew the wooden signpost on both the cardstock and a masking sheet, to mask it. After that, I used Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, Cracked Pistachio, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks to colour the sky. I then splattered white paint over it to create the stars.

Next, I coloured the ground using Hickory Smoke Distress ink. Then, I unmasked the images and coloured them with Zig Markers and applied Distress Stickles on the Santa’s hat and suit. Once this dried, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Card 2:
First, I cut the window from an A2 watercolour paper using the Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window by MFT. Then, I stamped the gift and masked it before stamping the Christmas tree. After this, I masked the tree too and used Tumbled Glass Distress ink to colour the glass. Then, I used Epi De Ble Stencil by Carabelle Studio along with Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink and a mini ink blender to add texture to the wall. For the ground, I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink.

Next, I stamped the Santa using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and fussy cut it. Then, I coloured all the images with Zig markers and applied Distress Stickles on the Santa’s hat and suit. While this was drying, I stamped the sentiment on the A2 cardstock using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and then assembled the card.

Thank you for visiting the blog. I had a lot of fun making these card and I hope I inspired you today. Have a wonderful day.

Thinking of you this Christmas - Guest Designer Joy

Hello friends! It's Joy here with my first card as the guest designer for Gerda Steiner Designs. I am so very excited and I would like to thank Luba for giving me this opportunity. I love all the adorable stamps they have, and for today’s project, I would like to share a card I made using the Holiday Friends Stamp Set.

First, I stamped the images on a masking sheet, and fussy cut them. Then I used the Instalove die by Mama Elephant to cut three Polaroids out of a watercolour cardstock. For the first Polaroid, I stamped the reindeer and the Christmas tree with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. Then I masked the images and the ground and used Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks to colour the sky. After that, I masked the sky and coloured the ground with Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks.

For the second one, I stamped the reindeer twice on each side, masked them and stamped the Christmas tree in between. Next, I masked the tree and the ground and coloured the top part of the panel with Candied Apple and Fired Brick Distress Inks. Then I masked the top part and used Black Soot Distress Ink to colour the ground.

For the third one, I stamped the reindeer, masked it and then stamped the gifts. After masking the gifts, I coloured the top part using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. I used the Classy Stripes Stencil by Altenew and Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink to add texture to the wall. Next, I used Hickory Smoke Distress Ink to colour the ground.

Then I coloured all the images with my Zig Markers. I applied Diamond Distress Stickles over the stars. After that, I stamped the sentiment on a white A2 card base using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. Once the stars were dry, I assembled the card.

Thank you for visiting the blog. I had so much fun making this card and I hope I inspired you today. Have a lovely day.
