Ha-bee birthday - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today it is my turn again to post a card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a birthday card with the digital stamp Birthday bee from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image.

My mini card is made from white cardstock and the size of the front is 10x10 cm. On my card I have glued a strip of red patterned paper from the Celebrations paperpack (PK9131 - retired) from Marianne design. On some other white cardstock I have made a background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I doodled around the edges of the white cardstock with a black fineliner. I have glued the background with foamtape on the card and then I added the image with foamtape on the card. I have rounded the right corners of the card with a corner punch.

Pugs & Kisses by Karla

Hello friends! Karla back today with an adorable birthday card using the sweet little Pug Digital Stamp from the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop. This cutie comes with the Pugs & Kisses and On Your Birthday sentiments that I’ve used here. You can either print him out with the sentiments attached, or cut them apart as I did. I decided to use kraft cardstock to print the digital image on. I always print in Fast Draft so I use less ink and like the way it works with my copics!

I stencilled over a patterned paper background, added some diecut swirls, and selected a little frame that came with one of the SCT Kits to frame the cute pup coloured with copics. I really love the muted colours you get by colouring on kraft. I added some white gel pen highlights to finish him off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop to see what inspired you to create!! Have a fantastic week friends!

Hugs,
Karla

Happy birthday tag - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting this tag on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. I have made a tag with a sweet bear from the stampset Lovely panda's from Gerda Steiner designs. I decided to colour the panda as a normal bear this time with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have die-cut the large tag from light blue cardstock with the A tag for all-die from Avery elle. I have die-cut a couple of clouds from white cardstock with the Pierced clouds die from Avery elle and glued those on the tag.

I have die-cut a grass border with the Grassy hills die-namics from My favorite things from green design paper from the Classic gingham paper pack van Sunny studio. On the grass border I stamped a sentiment from the set Happy hoppy from Gerda Steiner designs with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. The butterfly and bee are stamps from the set Hello spring from Gerda Steiner designs and after I coloured those I also glued them on the tag.

Birthday puppy with Kaja

Hi there,
It's Kaja from Kajcyika crafts with another cute birthday card using the On the table stamp set!

Take a look:
I decided to make a symmetrical card this time, so I stamped out a dog and two bouquets. I colored everything in using alcohol markers and for the details I used white gel pen.

Next, I used my paper trimmer and cut a piece of brown paper. I used a kraft color since it's a color of the wood and I wanted this piece to look like table.
Then, I stamped out the sentiment in black ink on top of white paper. I used paper trimmer to cut it down to a strip and since I wanted to have a symmetrical card I put it directlly in the center of the kraft piece.

The last thing I had to do was to glue everything together for which I used double sided tape and foam tape.

That's it for today, thank you so much for joining me.
Kaja

Gerda Steiner designs - My first memory dex card with Turtly great

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new project on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a card for my Memory dex. At the moment these are a big hype in the Netherlands and since I thought it would be fun to make cards for the Memory dex I also purchased one. I think it is a nice way to try new techniques, but it is also perfect for making little scenes like I did today.

On my memory dex card I have used stams from the set Turtly great from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut them all. My memory dex card is made with the Stencils SL120 from Studio light. I have die-cut the same shape from green design paper and then I have die-cut it with the Grassy hills from My favorite things to make a grass edge. For the sky I used lightblue design paper. Both papers are from the Gingham-linen rainbow petite prints from Doodlebug. I have die-cut a couple of mini clouds from white cardstock with the Mini clouds from Memory box (retired) and I adhered those in the sky I have die-cut a couple of flowers from yellow design paper and decorated those with orange enamel dots from the Enamel stickers Sending sunshine from Create a smile stamps. The sentiment is from the set So to speak from Clearly besotted stamps.

Hippo in disguise - Happy birthday - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious.

Today I made a card with the stampset Hippo in disguise from Gerda Steiner designs. This is a really clever designed stampset. You start of with stamping the hippo with the cape and then there are couple of small stamps in the set that you can use to turn your hippo into a superhero or in a dracula. Really awesome! For my card from today I wanted my hippo to be a superhero. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. From a piece of white cardstock I have die-cut a rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies and then I have die-cut a circle out of the rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies. I have die-cut a larger rectangle from purple design paper from the Gingham linen rainbow petite prints from Doodlebug with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies. I adhered the white rectangle on top of the purple design paper with foamtape and then I adhered them both on a white card. I added the image with foamtape on the card. From yellow cardstock I have die-cut a couple of stars with the Lots of stars creative cuts from Mama elephant and I placed those on the card. The sentiment is from the set Happy hoppy from Gerda Steiner designs

The first card was coloured with copic markers and fussy cut out and popped up on foam tape for added dimension. The Background was inked with Distress oxide inks.

The second card was also coloured with copic markers. The balloons were stamped and masked to create many layers and give it a 3D look.

I hope you feel inspired...have a lovely day!

Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone!

Alexandra here from made by Alexandra sharing a pop up box card that I made using Party animals stamp set and the sentiment and banner from Alien invasion

I always loved interactive cards, and this pop up box card is just perfect too add all the critters from the stamp set when you don't know which one too choose :) , but also can be intimidating to create one! I remember that I saw lots of pop up boxes on Instagram but I felt like they are so hard to make .

But no ! They are very easy and also they create addiction :))

To start I cut a stripe of paper 12 cm tall ( scoring at 6 cm ) and 25 cm long.
Then I scored every 6 cm ,12cm ,18 cm and finally 24 cm leaving 1 cm to be able to close the pop up box.
The upper part where the scoring is I cut were the scoring lines are so when the box is open you are able to see the critters inside.
Also I cut 3 stripes of paper 1 cm tall and 8 cm long to have were to put the critters inside the box.

Next I colored the critters from Party animals stamp set using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and also inked the entire box using Distress inks and to add  a bit of details I used a stencil.

The sentiment is from Alien invasion and the banner too . I adhered everything using strong tape and my card was done!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a lovely day!

Guest Designer - Safari Friends (Part 2)

Hello everyone!

I'm Diana from Moments of Creativity and I'm back with another project featuring a very cute Go Wild Clear Stamp Set which turns out to be perfect for creating any adventure scenes with adorable animals and a ranger.

Today our little town boy continues his adventures at the safari park. Do you remember which animal our ranger spotted first? 😊 As it actually turned out, the giraffe was peeking out of the tree to see how close the boy was as it was his birthday and the animals prepared a surprise for him 😉

And here is a picture from another perspective to give you a better understanding of who was responsible for a birthday cake:

I do hope everyone was enjoying a birthday party that day 😊

Thanks for stopping by! See you next time!

Yours, Diana

Guest Designer - Safari Friends (Part 1)

Hello everyone!

I'm Diana from Moments of Creativity and I'm back with another card featuring a very cute and recently released Go Wild Clear Stamp Set which is perfect for any adventure scenes with cute animals and a ranger.

This time I've decided to send our cute little town boy to the safari park to observe freely roaming animals. I wonder which animal our ranger met first 😉

Yep, he really managed to catch a glimpse of the tallest animal in the world 😊

To create this card I went with a multi-layered landscape: hills фе the back, green long trees (I guess for the animals to better hide from people 😃), warm sun and grass. All these elements were made of the white cardstock and colored with Distress Inks and Copic markers.

Well, to tell you the truth, this card is just a beginning of our little ranger's acquaintance with the creatures that live at the safari park. Next time you'll be able to see the story's development 😊 Stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by! See you next time!

Yours, Diana

Guest Designer - Wild Birthday

Hello everyone!

I'm Diana from Moments of Creativity and I have the huge honor to guest design again for this super talented team.

For the next couple of weeks I'll be sharing with you some projects of mine featuring the recently released Go Wild Clear Stamp Set which is perfect for any adventure scenes with cute animals and a ranger.

For today's project I wanted to use as many images from the set as possible, that's why I decided to go with a tunnel card. I practically reached my goal (and even used a bunny from Hoppiness Clear Stamp Set), but in the end it turned out that an elephant was taking too much space on the card, so you will see him in my next project 😉 And here is what I came up with:

To create this card I cut three windows in two panels and a card base and stamped the sentiment inside the card. All layers of the tunnel were colored with blue and green distress inks - like the sky and the grass, and, of course, spritzed with some water to get the spots. Then I placed all the characters on the layers which actually turned out to be the most challenging part of the project 😃

To tell you the truth, it's been always hard for me to find stamps for creating cards for boys, but now with this great set it became just a piece of cake. Thank you, Gerda, for such a great design!

I hope you liked my little inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by! See you next time!

Yours, Diana

Larissa - Hoppiness

Hello everyone, I am Larissa from the blog Car-d-elicious and today is my second time guestdesigning for Gerda Steiner designs. I got the set Hoppiness from Gerda to make some cards with. This time I decided to use the cute bird instead of one of the bunnies on the set.

This funny bird is from the set Hoppiness from Gerda Steiner designs. I stamped the bird 6 times and then I colouored them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have cut 6 circles out of a piece of kraft cardstock with the Stans X-tra no. 7 die from Crealies. I adhered the kraft cardstock with foamtape on black cardstock and then I adhered the birds inside the circles. The sentiment is from the set Happy hoppy from Gerda Steiner designs. With a black fineliner I doodled a line on the kraft cardstock. On a kraft card I adhered a stripf of rainbow striped design paper from the Sweet celebrations paperpack from My favorite things and then I adhered the cardstock with the images on my card.

Thanks Gerda and Macy for asking me as a guestdesigner! I had so much fun. :)

Guest Designer - Unforgettable Birthday

Hi there everyone!

I'm Diana from Moments of Creativity and this is my last post as a guest designer for this fabulous team. That is why I decided to greet you all with a cheerful card which will come in handy for any birthday and is very easy to make:

Now let's get right to 10 steps which will help you to create such a card:
1. Start off by cutting 3 circles on your panel.
2. Once this is done, stamp different small images from Moody Unicorns Clear Stamp Set around the circles leaving some space for a sentiment.
3. Mask these images off.
4. Create an ink blended background and spritz some water on the panel to get the spots.
5. Remove the masks and let the background dry for a while.
6. Stamp bunnies from Hoppiness Clear Stamp Set onto a piece of paper and color them with any coloring supplies you prefer (I did it with my Copics).
7. Once the panel is dry, color the images on it.
8. Add some ink on the card base as well.
9. Glue the panel to the card base and place the bunnies into the circles.
10. Stamp a sentiment to finish off the card.

Pretty simple, isn't it?

And once again these super cute bunnies from the recently released Hoppiness Stamp Set helped us to create a new different project. Like I was saying, the range of use of this stamp set is extensive:)

I hope you liked my little inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!

Yours, Diana

Guest Designer- Just a few little cards to say.....

Hi Everyone!!
I'm Kimberly from Kimberly's Crafty Spot here today to share a few cards as a Guest Designer.
I made two more cards using the All Cats stamp set.

The first card is a Valentine's/Love card. The XO sentiment from the set inspired me. The cute cat is stamped and colored with copic markers to look like a white cat with black spots.
I stamped the background with the same color of the card stock with the XO sentiment. Then I die the panel with an Oval die and a stitched rounded rectangle die. The oval made a cute window for the cat, holding the sign, I paper pieced the sentiment window with some pink heart patterned paper. Next, I added the back ground of heart patterned paper to the window for the cat. I stamped the sentiment,
"Just a little card to say" in black ink and then added some clear embossing powder. I finished the card with some heart and round enamel dots.

For the second card, I used a card sketch and the "Happy Purr-Thday" as inspiration. The cat is again stamped in black and copic colored to be an orange tabby cat. I cut the papers according to the sketch and added a dry embossed polka dotted background. The "Happy Purr-Thday!" sentiment is stamped and heat embossed in white, then I added some white gel pen faux stitching. I finished the card with some stitched edges, glossy accents to the eyes and nose and matching enamel dots.

I added an action wobble to this cat and it's just so fun for a birthday card!!
This is the cat in action, he looks like he is ready to pounce!

These are all three of the cards together that I made as a Guest Designer using the All Cats stamp set.

For list of supplies, please visit my blog.
Thank you so much to Gerda and Macy for the wonderful opportunity
to use your adorable stamps and to share some projects with them.
Have a wonderful day!
