Hippo in disguise - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a card that I am also posting on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. I have made a birthdaycard for my little nephew Menno who celebrated his 8th birthday yesterday.

On the card I used the clear stamp Hippo in disguise from Gerda Steiner designs. I stamped the hippo as a super hero and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have then fussy cut the image. I have diecut a large square from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies and then I glued it on a red card. Then I have diecut a couple of circle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 from Crealies from red and blue cardstock and also from yellow striped patterned paper from the Striped silly paperpack from Sunny studio. I also cut a strip from the blue cardstock. I glued everything on my card. Then I have diecut a couple of stars from the yellow striped paper with the Star confetti die from Alexandra Renke and glued those on the card. I stamped the sentiment (congratulations) from the set Gefeliciteerd from Carlijn design on a piece of red cardstock and then I have diecut the sentiment with the Snijmallen gefeliciteerd from Carlijn design and glued it on my card. I have diecut a little banner from red cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 59 from Crealies. I used the tiny attacher from Tim Holtz to attach the banner onto my card. I have diecut a number 8 with the Klassiskt alfabet D181201 from Gummiapan from the yellow striped patterned paper.

Fall in Love

it's Tanja here and I created this sweet Fall Tag for you:

• stamp the adorable little squirrel couple from the Gerda Steiner Designs Fall in Love set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf 
• color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• cut out a Clearly Besotted Rounded Tag from woodgrain cardstock 
• add a little grass border cut from watercolor paper with the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border die and color it with Distress Oxide Ink (Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo) - add some splatters for more texture as well
• stamp the sentiment from the same set onto a Tonic Glazed Chestnut sentiment strip  with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• thread a piece of pink and a piece of brown twine through the hole of the tag
• add some pink acrylic hearts from Little Things from Lucy's Cards as final embellishments

Snowman Joy

Happy Friday everyone! It's Cathy here sharing a card today using the new Little Snowman stamps. This is just the cutest snowman!

To create a snowy scene, I inked the background panel lightly with Tumbled Glass distress ink and stamped the snowflakes from this set in Versamark ink. I then heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I also heat embossed the "wishing you" sentiment from the Balancing Mouse stamp set in pink embossing powder.

I stamped the snowman on a separate piece of white cardstock and extended the black snow line just a bit with a Copic multi-liner. I cut to the edges of the cardstock and fussy cut around the snowman. I then glued this piece to the bottom of the background panel.

I drew a few random lines on the snow with Copic B00 and then went over them with a Versamark pen. I heat embossed them with a neutral shimmer embossing powder for a little sparkle.

To finish, I heat embossed some large snowflake die-cuts with white puff powder and added a large die-cut sentiment that I inked with Tumbled Glass and Broken China distress inks.
