Days are better when you're around!

Hi Gerda fans!!

It's Cathy here today and we are super excited to share a brand new release tomorrow!!

For my card today, I've featured the new "Sending Hugs" 4x6 clear stamp set  with this adorable snowman and little birdie friends!

I just love this sentiment! This stamp set also has big bold sentiment stamps to stamp out "love & wishes" or "love & hugs" or you can use the words individually as they're all separate stamps. The set also includes " winter", "warm", and "your way" sentiment stamps for even more possibilities!

There's an adorable bunny and squirrel hugging stamp too!

The new release will be available in the shop tomorrow!!

More to come!

Snowman and Birds

Hi, Margreet here.
I created a winter card with the sweet digital stamp Snowman and Birds from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I started with printing the cute digi. Colored with copics and fussy cut it.
Then I started by attaching design paper on white cardstock.
To cut the icicle die from Joy!crafts I used some blue glitter foam and attached it at the top of the card.
Then I cut some snow with Crealies dies. When thedie cuts were in place I made some extra snow with Foam Ball Clay.
The cute digi was stuck with foam parts and he got a cotton ball on his hat.
Although it is summer where I live, I hope you like this winter card.
Have a great day!
xxx Margreet

Snowman & Birds Winter Card by Karla

Hello friends! Karla here today with an adorable winter card using the sweet Snowman and Birds Digital Stamp from the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop. This cute image makes a wonderful winter card, which could be used for the holidays or anytime after - think about how cute a winter birthday card would be using this guy!!

I coloured in the image with Copic Makers and added some white gel pen highlights. I created my own sentiment by using a font from my computer, printing it out on 60lb white cardstock with the snowman image, and using a banner die to cut around it. A bit of red ink adds some colour to the edges of my diecuts. Some pretty BoBunny papers add a wintry feel and a couple red enamel dots add another pop of colour.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop to see what fun images inspire you to get crafting... and have a wonderful week ahead!

Big hugs,
Karla

Skating Mice Pair

Hello everyone!  Allison Cope here! It’s snowy and rather white here in Southern Alberta today so I thought I’d create a pretty winter scene to put some cute critters on.

Today I’m working with the sweet “Ice Skating Mouse” digital image.  I have printed out my images on to Strathmore 400 Series Cold Press Watercolor paper to use my ZIG Clean Color Markers with today.

Grab a warm cuppa your favorite drink and join me at my crafty desk…

Now check out my final card with it’s sentiment on it!

Thanks for joining me today!  I’d love to hear what you think about my card today!

Happy stamping!

Snowman Joy

Happy Friday everyone! It's Cathy here sharing a card today using the new Little Snowman stamps. This is just the cutest snowman!

To create a snowy scene, I inked the background panel lightly with Tumbled Glass distress ink and stamped the snowflakes from this set in Versamark ink. I then heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I also heat embossed the "wishing you" sentiment from the Balancing Mouse stamp set in pink embossing powder.

I stamped the snowman on a separate piece of white cardstock and extended the black snow line just a bit with a Copic multi-liner. I cut to the edges of the cardstock and fussy cut around the snowman. I then glued this piece to the bottom of the background panel.

I drew a few random lines on the snow with Copic B00 and then went over them with a Versamark pen. I heat embossed them with a neutral shimmer embossing powder for a little sparkle.

To finish, I heat embossed some large snowflake die-cuts with white puff powder and added a large die-cut sentiment that I inked with Tumbled Glass and Broken China distress inks.

Hope you have a wonderful crafty weekend and see you again soon!
