I basically like to play with my stash and see what feels right and what colors appeal to me that day. Currently, I love the greens and blues— which brings me to my first of two cards.
I began with coloring the bunnies with Copic markers. The colors I used are show in the photo below. I then cut two small ovals —one in black and one in white. The black went behind the white as a shadow.I used a heart stencil to add red hearts to the white oval.
I cut a piece of the blue cardstock as my background and then used 3d stickers to pop up the circles. My current favorite paper is from Gina K Designs and The Stamp Market. The weight is perfect and the colors are so much fun.
The inks that I get great results with are: Gina K Designs Black Amalgam ink, Concord & 9 and The Stamp Market. Who are we kidding, I have many other brands I worked with and love but these are my current go to inks. I may or may not have a craft supply addiction 😆.
For this example I stamped the sentiment on the inside, keeping it clean and simple with plenty of room to write.
I love my embellishments and found these cute butterfly gems at Hobby Lobby.
Next Tuesday I will return with my second card. In the meantime, I hope you play, have fun, make a mess and get crafting! Enjoy!
