Christmas llama tags - Larissa

Goodmorning, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new project on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. I needed 4 tags for christmas and made those with the funny Fa-la-la-la-llamas from Gerda Steiner designs. I printed the llama's and then I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I coloured parts of the images with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I applied Glossy accents on the christmas lights. I have fussy cut all the images. From white cardstock I have die-cut 4 tags with the Dotted tags from Waffleflower and I decorated those all.

I have coloured the background of the tags with distress inks. I put masking tape on the edges of the tag and then I coloured the first tag with Lucky clover distress ink. I also coloured the enforcement ring with Lucky clover distress ink. I glued the llama on the tag and then I used a white gelpen to raw dots on the scarf. The sentiment is from the stampset Frosty friends from Hello Bluebird. I have fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it on the tag.

On the second tag I coloured the background with Abandoned coral en Candied apple distress ink. Again I used a sentiment from the set Frosty friends from Hello Bluebird.

The background of the thirth tag is coloured with Mustard seed and Spiced marmelade distress ink. The sentiment is from the set Winter wishes from DLS design.

On the last tag I coloured the background with Spun sugar and Festive berries distress ink. The sentiment is from the set Hippo christmas from Clearly besotted stamps

Guest designer -JOY TO THE WORLD by Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends, Noga Shefer here and I am so excited to be guest designing with  Gerda Steiner Designs today.

To make this card I took an A2 panel of FIRST EDITION premium paper.

Next I colored the images using copic markers. I glued all the images to my panel with foam tape for dimension.

Next I stamped a greeting from the stamp set using gold embossing powder and embossed it.

To finish off, I added scallop frame to the card.

I hope you enjoy the card I created and feel inspired to create!

A big THANK YOU goes to Luba for having me guest today, and thank you for visiting the blog.

Have a great day!

Noga.

Merry Christmas Raccoon

Hi there,

it's Tanja here and I created this cute Raccoon Christmas Card using the adorable Gerda Steiner Designs Raccoon:

  • color the Gerda Steiner Designs Raccoon with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • cut out a stitched rectangle from watercolor paper and a hill shape from watercolor paper as well
  • add Nuvo Glitter Gloss to the hill shape
  • add color to the background with Distress Ink (Chipped Sapphire, Victorian Velvet, Stormy Sky) and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
  • cut out snowflakes from the background using a die from the Tim Holtz Winter Wonderland set
  • add some splatters with watered-down white acrylic paint for even more snowflakes
  • layer a piece of white glitter paper behind the watercolor panel
  • stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Say What Christmas Critters set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves
  • run a piece of kraft cardstock through your Big Shot inside the Tim Holtz Lumber embossing folder
  • adhere all the layers to an off-white cardbase

I hope you got inspired.

Hugs,
