CAS Christmas with Pigeons

 Greetings!

It's me again, Jessie Scott, Guest Designing for Gerda Steiner Designs!

Today I wanted to share some Clean and Simple (CAS) designs for Christmas. It's time to get crackin' ! :-)

I just got my hands on the fun Sportsy Santa set and I thought the Santa hat was perfect to use for my other critters I have ready to go!

Previously, I had colored the Pigeons set as part of the color challenge on the GSD Facebook Group.

I trimmed one of the wings from the body so one could hold the Santa hat.

These guys just speak to me in snarky phrases.

I had some ideas and printed them with my laser printer (toner) and toner-foiled with some Gina K Gold Sequins Fancy Foil.

Foiling is addictive, so don't look that up if you don't want to go buy a laser printer and Minc. :-D

Sentiments I used are "This is as merry as I get", "Be Merry, it's almost over", and "Does being good at being naughty count?"

Trying to keep this CAS, I took some white card bases and splattered them with Kuretake water colors (I love how the Gem and Pearl colors shine!) and then added some fun Lawn Fawn paper from last year (Knit Picky 6x6) and added a scalloped frame from Lawn Fawn's Stitched Scalloped Frames set.

I took the inside cut out piece (since its the perfect width) and trimmed a thin piece off the end to make a strip to frame the sentiment with and have a border for the Pigeon to stand on.                         Time to assemble!

My snarky Pigeons are popped up on foam dots.

                             That's it!!

Hope you enjoyed the cards and are inspired to get your own CAS Christmas cards going!

See you again soon!

Sending you some POSITIVI'TEA by Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends,  Noga  here and I am so happy to share with you another project for Gerda Steiner Designs today.

My card features the adorable Cup of Love 3x4 Clear Stamp Set and Positivi-Tea 4x6 Clear Stamp Set stamp set.
This is perfect for encouragement cards.

To make this card I took an A2 panel of Copic friendly paper and stamped images from both sets.

Next I colored the sweet images using copic markers: RV52, RV32, RV19, RV17, RV04, R85, Y32, E000.

Then I stamped a greeting from Positivi-Tea 4x6 Clear Stamp Set using black ink.

For a final touch, I added brown twine and some sequins.

I hope you enjoy the card I created and feel inspired to create!

Thanks for stopping by,

Hello Pumpkin!

 Hi everyone!

Stacey with you today, stopping by to share a mini slimline card that I created using the Pumpkin Mouse stamp set, along with a sentiment from the Pumpkin Bear stamp set.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I created my mini slimline card base by cutting a 6" square piece of Kraft cardstock in half so that it measured 3"x 6". I die cut a scalloped rectangle from some more kraft cardstock, inked around the perimeter with some distress ink and adhered it to my card front. I used another die to cut out my plaid patterned paper and added some Kraft stripes to one side. I stamped my images from the Pumpkin Mouse stamp set, masking the little mouse so that it was all one piece, onto some white cardstock and colored it in with my Copic markers. I fussy cut it out and popped it up onto my card with some foam tape for a little dimension. I stamped my greeting from the Pumpkin Bear set onto a piece of white cardstock, inked the edges, tied a twine bow and popped it up with more foam tape. I completed my card with a small enamel heart and some white gel pen accents. I think that little mouse is too cute in his little sweater!

Copic Colors Used:

--Mouse: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, R20, R00
--Sweater: BG93, G94, G99
--Cup: E33, E37, E42
--Pumpkins: YR21, YR24, YR27, E33, E37
--Apple: R22, R24, R27, G94, G99, E37
--Pear: Y11, Y21, YR23, E37
--Mushrooms: E43, E41, R24, R39

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I appreciate it so much!
I hope you have a great crafty day!
