YOU ARE KOALAFIED...

Hello dear craft friends,
Today I'd like to introduce you to another little inspiration with the YOU ARE KOALAFIED stamp set.

I have again included the materials I used in the illustrated instructions in the picture.

First I designed the background with the stencil from the M4Y and the DistressOxide Inks. As a special feature I used a texture paste that looks broken for the coffee beans.

Then I colored the koala and leave you my combination of markers from OHUHart in the picture.

I carefully applied the smaller shades again with a polychromo pencil.

I always use a white gel pen to accentuate the light spots.

The Polaroid punch is from AveryEll "Photo Mat"
The frame punch is from Create a Smile.

I particularly like coffee cards. I'm a coffee junkie and of course I like it with a piece of chocolate.

In contrast to my gaudy cards, this is a quieter version of my cards.

What is your favorite way to relax?

Have a nice creative time and I hope you enjoyed my post.
If you have any questions or suggestions, I'm always here for you.

Creative greetings
Nicole alias Stempelfiziert

Is It Sweater Weather Yet?

Howdy friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with the beginning of my second month as a guest designer, I was so happy to be invited back and wow do I have some fun cards this month.

I used the new Sweater Mouse from the Pumpkin Mouse Stamp Set and colored him up with my colored pencils (a medium I do not use often, the sentiment is heat embossed on vellum and attached to Rose Gold mirror cardstock and my background was made with a fun Fall stencil from Penguin Palace using their Stencils 360 system.

I hope you have enjoyed this project, I'll be back next Thurdsay with another fun project I have ready for you. I can be found at Leeanngetscrafty on all social media platforms and would love it if you were to follow me for other fun inspiration.

Guest Design - Glide we are friends by Izzy Scrap

Bonjour !

My name is Izzy from Izzy Scrap and I'm super excited and very honoured to be guest designing for Gerda Steiner Designs this month. A very huge thank you to Gerda and her team for welcoming me !

Today I am featuring the Buckets of Love 4x6 clear stamp set. It includes four images and four sentiments. If you are a cat lover like me, I am pretty sure that you will love this stamp set. I have two cats and I love watching them playing together in the garden. So I decided to create an interactive slimline card to make the cats playing together !

As you can see this adorable grey cat is sliding on the soaped water spilled by the red cat and he is joining the two surprised cats which were in their bucket.

To create this card I started by colouring the water with a blue Copic marker on a slimline die cut panel. I drew the bubbles with colour pencils, and I also added a very soft touch of inks on the top of the panel. I stamped the sentiment and then I cut the slider part.

On the back of this panel I adhered adhesive foam and I created a tab with a strip of paper also coloured in blue. I took care that the coin on which the cat is going to slide can easily move between the adhesive foam.

On a scrap of white paper I stamped the cats and the soap, I coloured them with colour pencils then I fussy cut them.

Then I layered it all together, attaching my front panel onto a white card base and foam mounting the soap and the different buckets both on the card and on the coin.

Et voilĂ  ! I love how it turned out and I hope you too. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you back here later this month...

Wishing you a beautiful and crafty day !

Izzy

Pen Pal Bear Stationary by Karla

Hello friends! Karla back today with a cute way to send some happy mail to a friend! While we are all socially distancing, I think we are also looking for ways to still connect with others. What would be better than to send some mail the old fashioned way, letting someone know we are thinking of them and we care! I thought I'd use the sweet Gerda Steiner Designs Pen Pal Bear digital stamp to make some stationary to send to a new pen pal of my own and I even made a coordinating card!

I opened up the digi stamp and positioned both the image and the sentiment in Word to fit on a piece of printer paper. Then I used the Watermark feature to add the image again centered on the page. I thought this was a cute addition!

I coloured in the bear with coloured pencils, using some pencils from my kids' art drawer. This guy is so cute - he would be great added to a teacher card or for your kiddos to send to their friends!

I also printed the image out on white 65 lb cardstock that I ran through my printer, and I coloured it with Copic Markers this time. I added some fun papers to a card and some pretty diecut circles stamped with a friendly Hello from a Sizzix set. After popping this cutie up with foam tape I added a few sequins and my set is ready to go!

Thanks so much for stopping by! You can check out both the clear and digital stamps in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop and have fun creating your own happy mail!

Hugs,
Karla
