Trick Or Treat!

Hi everyone!
Stacey with you today stopping by to share a Halloween themed card that I created using some of those amazing stamps from Gerda Steiner Designs!
For my card, I used the Halloween Ghosts, Ghosts & Where Is The Candy stamp sets.
Here is a look at the card that I created:

I created my card by creating an A2 cardbase from some white cardstock and covering it with some striped & orange patterned papers. I heat embossed my sentiment from the Where Is The Candy stamp set using some white embossing powder onto a strip of black cardstock. I used a spider web border punch and created a fun little border along the bottom. I die cut a piece of green patterned paper and adhered my sentiment piece before popping the entire piece up with foam tape onto my card front.
Next was the fun part....playing with those adorable little ghosts from the Halloween Ghosts stamp set! I wanted the little ghost with glasses to also have a witch hat. I stamped the hat from the Ghosts stamp set, masked it off, and then stamped the ghost with glasses so that he could have a costume also. I colored all the ghosts with my Copic markers and then fussy cut them out. I added them to my card, popping up the middle ghost with more foam tape. I added a spider from the Ghosts stamp set and some doodles with a black Micron pen to complete my card. Aren't those little ghosts so cute??

Copic Colors Used:
--Ghosts: C00, C0, BG000, RV00.
--Hats: N3, N5, N7.
--Purple Hat Band: V12, V17, Y18.
--Green Hat Band: G94, G99, Y18.
--Orange Hat Band: YR09, Y18.
--Broom: N3, Y26, Y28, Y18.
--Sign: N0.

Have a Fun & Spooky Halloween

Hi crafty friends! I am very excited to be a guest designer for Gerda Steiner Designs.  I’m sharing a spooky scene card featuring the Halloween Ghosts Stamp set.

For this card, I created the background first by water coloring an A2-sized panel. I used two different shades of purple and swiped the color horizontally across the entire panel. Next, I created a grounding element by trimming a piece of blue cardstock and lightly blending the edges with blue ink. Then I splattered the background and the trimmed panel with diluted white paint for interest.

I stamped the images with Copic-friendly ink and used my Copic Markers to color everything in. I also created the moon by die-cutting a circle and adding shading with my markers.

Copic Marker

Ghosts: BV01, BV00, BV000, BV0000
Eyes: B01, B000
Purple: V09, V17, V15, V12
Green: YG17, YG07, YG03, YG00
Sign: E42, E43, E44, E47
Broom: YR23, YR24, E35, E44, E47
Moon: C1, C0, C00, Y0000, Y000, Y00

Using a sweet sentiment from the stamp set, I white heat embossed it onto a piece of blue cardstock and adhered all of the elements to the front of my card panel using foam adhesive, liquid glue, or glue dots.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, and I will be back next week with another guest design project featuring the Halloween Ghosts Stamp set.

Happy Halloween!

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my first project of the September Guest Design Spot. As we enter the season of thanks, I would like to express how thankful I am to GSD for having me here this month.

This stair step card was so fun to make. The pattern paper is from Doodlebug and this was the best way I found I could feature all of the adorable ghosts in this Halloween Ghosts stamp set. Bewteen the signholding Witch on an action wobble, and the clay eyes on the alien ghost, to the little guy popping out of the pumpkin. You will also see as the video rotates that a couple of the little ghosts make an appearance on the back side as well.

Again thank you so much GSD.

Too Cute to Spook

Hello everyone, Dania here again (aka Dania's Doodles) excited to be guest designing once again.  This time I got a change to play with "Halloween Ghosts" and a very cute "BOO" die. The "BOO" is just darling.  My favorite feature about this die was the shadow.  The shadow has the opennings for the "O's". Oh and how I love this design.  I can just see googly eyes inserted!  @@

For my first project, I created a slimline card.  I started by inkblending the background using Distress Oxide inks to create a moonlit night sky.  The little ghosts were colored in alcohol markers in a pale blue for a slight glowy shadow. To create the moon, cut and adhere a circle mask.  Then ink the background in colors of your choice, remove the mask and ink in the moon overlapping into the dark sky for an extra glow. Splatter white paint for added interest.  The small sentiments included fit perfectly in the sign carried by the one ghost.  For this card I cut the BOO shadow in vellum.

For my second card, I designed an A2 sized card.  Wanting once again to showcase all the ghosts I used  a wonky grid background and pattern paper.  Grids like this one is a great guide to group objects.  The ghost in this case were colored in pencil with no lines.  I used the main senitment in the set, but made sure the ghost holding the sign got his sentiment. :)

I want to thank Gerda for trusting me to showcase a couple of her darling stamp sets this month.  You can find my work on Facebook and Instagram.

AND don't forget about the monthly challenges for a chance to win.  I have won a couple of times and it has been a thrill to shop the cuteness.

Thank you again,

Dania
