World Space Week Blog Hop

it's Tanja here and today Milka is having her World Space Week Blog Hop and Gerda Steiner Designs is sponsoring this fabulous event.

On my creation I am using the Gerda Steiner Designs Alien Invasion and Blast off stamp sets:

• create a double slider mechanism using the My Favorite Things Double Slider Loop Slots, the My Favorite Things Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX, the pull tab from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 29 die set, a strip of a plastic bag and double-sided foam adhesive
• stamp the Pull here from the Lawn Fawn Push here set with Versamark onto the pull tab and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• stamp the space ship, the planets, the alien, the sentiment and some stars from the Gerda Steiner Designs Alien Invasion and Blast off sets
• add color using Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
• add extra shading with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• mount the slider onto a kraft cardbase with some stars stamped on the outer edges
