Deeply grateful....!!

Hello my fellow crafty friends...

It's Ashlee here today and I have a brand new card to share with you using the new set "Deeply"....

I am totally in love with this fun set, and what about that adorable bear waving out of the submarine window... too cute!!

For this card I created an underwater scene with all the fishes swimming around the submarine...

To create the card I ink blended half way down the card base with some blue distress oxide ink in Mermaid lagoon and then stamped over the top of it using a create a smile stamp called ocean waves...

This gave me my water base...

I then added all my coloured pieces using some foam tape to give them layers of dimension!!

(All images coloured using Copic and Spectrum tri-blend markers)

To finish off the card I stamped the "Deeply grateful for you sentiment onto a postage edge circle die cut (also from create a smile) and then a touch of pretty sequins.....

I had so much fun creating the underwater scene card...
Totally going to be using this set for so many more cards, I really think its a must for any stamp collection!!

Happy crafting everyone, until next post...
Hugz Ashlee.

Cozy Scene with On the Table

Hello!  It's Andrea back with my last post as guest designer.  I have truly enjoyed this experience and hope I've inspired you even a tad.

Cozy Scene Card by Andrea Shell | On the Table set by Gerda Steiner Designs

I had so much fun creating this cozy kitchen scene!  I combined images from On the Table with one of the pandas from Lovely Pandas.  I stamped all of my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics.

To create my wallpaper, I inked up a stencil with Squeezed Lemonade distress ink.  Using a square die, I die-cut two windows from the panel.  I added Salty Ocean to the card front before adhering my background panel.  I layered two square dies to create window frames from white cardstock and tucked in that cute panda.

With a curved die, I die-cut the table from patterned paper.  After inking the edge, I popped up the table onto my card with foam tape.  I adhered the rest of my images with dimensional adhesive and added highlights with a white gel pen.  I toyed with putting a sentiment on the front, but thought it detracted from my scene.

Thank you for having me as a guest!  Have a sweet day!

So happy we're friends - Lovely panda's - Larissa

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I made a card with the stampset Lovely panda's from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the panda with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I coloured the balloon with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I applied Glossy accents on it.

On a white card I added a couple of clouds with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I made a little hill for my panda with the Drifts and hills stencil from My favorite things and Mowed lawn distress ink. I glued the images with foamtape on my card. Then I stamped a sentiment from the stampset Lovely panda's from Gerda Steiner designs next to the image.
