Happy birthday - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs.

This time I have made a birthday card with the digital stamp Make a wish mouse from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the image. I have die-cut a square from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies and the glued the image on it. I have stamped a sentiment from the set  Happy hoppy (clear stamp) from Gerda Steiner designs in the left upper corner. I have made a card with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 from Crealies from white cardstock. On the card I glued a square that I have die-cut from green patterned paper from the Kraft in color - color paperpad from Doodlebug, that I have die-cut with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies. I tied a white ribbon around the front of the card and then I glued the square with the image on the card with foamtape. I have die-cut a couple of flowers with the Floral flourishes Large flowers 6002/1081 from Joy crafts from pink patterned paper from the Create happiness paperpad from Studio light. I also have die-cut a couple of leaves from white cardstock with the Leaf cluster Die 066-c from Impression obsession. I glued the flowers and leaves on the card and then I decorated the flowers with white hotfix gems.

This time I have combined 2 digital stamps, because they are a perfect match. The first image is Birthday bear from Gerda Steiner designs. This image goes really well together with the Make a wish mouse blowing out birthday cake candle from Gerda Steiner designs. I didn't use the little pie from this image. I have coloured both images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut both images. On a piece of white cardstock I have stamped a sentiment from the All cats Clear stamp set from Gerda Steiner designs in the left upper corner and then I made a background for the image with Versafine clair glamorous ink. Then I glued the bear and mouse with foamtape on the white cardstock. On a white card I glued a strip of striped design paper from the Over the rainbow paperpad from My favorite things. I have die-cut a scalloped border from black cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 from Crealies and I glued it under the white cardstock. Then I glued the white cardstock with foamtape on the card. I used a black fineliner to draw a frame on the white cardstock. I have stamped with a star and dots stamp from the set Rocking the wreath from Alpaca pals around the images.

Make a Wish Mouse

Hi Everyone, Melissa here.

For today's inspiration I have used the 'Make a Wish Mouse' Digital Stamp.

• This is a single layered card.
• Print image onto Copic X-Press It Blending card and colour with Copic Markers.
• Print another image onto Eclipse Masking Tape and fussy cut.  Layer this onto the Mouse and Cupcake.
• Using a Blending Brush or Foam colour the background with Distress Oxide Inks.  I used Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean. When finished, remove the masking tape.
• Print sentiment onto black card stock using a Laser printer and foil with white Decofoil.  Trim to size and adhere to card.
• Apply Nuvo Shimmer Pen to the Cupcake and flame of candle.
• Apply Glossy Accents to the Cupcake, Flame and Hat.
