it's Tanja here today and I am super excited to tell you that this is my first project as an official member of the Gerda Steiner Designs DT. I think this cute hippo is the perfect summer image:

it's Tanja here today and I am super excited to tell you that this is my first project as an official member of the Gerda Steiner Designs DT. I think this cute hippo is the perfect summer image:
- color the cute Gerda Steiner Designs Diving Hippo with Delta Markers and add details with a white gel pen
- cut out a background panel from light blue cardstock and a second panel from a little darker blue cardstock with the help of the My Favorite Things Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Square STAX
- cut out a wave line from the darker blue cardstock
- cut out two clouds from the background panel using WPlus9 Sunshine Layers and from white cardstock and puzzle them together with a white border
- cut out "sunshine" from the same die set and color the letters with the same light yellow markers used on the image and add Distress Inks (Scattered Straw, Wild Honey) to create an ombre effect
- puzzle the panel into a kraft cardbase
