Meowy Birthday Card

Hello friends! It's Karla back today with a sweet kitty birthday card using the adorable Cat In Bookshelf Digital Stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs. This cutie is just relaxing and taking it easy - the purrrfect thing to do on a birthday 😸 I coloured the image in with Copic Markers and added a few white gel pen highlights in various areas.

I found some fun sentiments in my stash that went with my kitty birthday theme and created a little pocket and pull-out tag. These pretty papers are from the Vicki Boutin line, and I added some flower sequins and tiny stickers to embellish.

Inside, I stamped a birthday sentiment on the cut out from the pocket that was created on the front of the card and added a little washi sticker to finish it off. Now this card is ready to send to a meowy special person!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop to see what inspires you to get creating, and have an awesome weekend!

Hugs,
Karla

You're the Best

Hi there,

here is another creation using the adorable Gerda Steiner Designs Cat in bookshelf stamp set and if my son was a cat he would look exactly like this :o)

  • color the images from the Gerda Steiner Designs Cat in bookshelf stamp set with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
  • as a background I used a leftover piece from an earlier watercolor session cut out with one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles
  • stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Labeled Messages with Versafine Onyx Black
  • add a swirl of silver thread behind the cute little cat before adhering it to the watercolor panel

Have a wonderful day.

Relax

Hi there,

it's Tanja here again. Did you see the adorable new Gerda Steiner Designs Cat in Bookshelf stamp set? This is my first creation using this set:

  • color some of the images from the Gerda Steiner Designs Cat in Bookshelf set with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils
  • add woodgrain to the shelf with the help of the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain stamp and Archival Ink Watering Can
  • cut out a stitched panel from Gmund Beer Paper Weizen and add a heart border using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Valentine's Edges dies
  • add a strip of pattierend paper from the Carta Bella Spring Market 6x6 paper pad underneath the heart border

I hope you got inspired.

Stamp of the month - Cat in bookshelf - Larissa

Goodmorning, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a card for the monthly challenge from Gerda Steiner designs. This month you have to make a card with the image Cat in bookshelf from Gerda Steiner designs. If you make a card for the march challenge, you automatically get the april image emailed to you.

I have coloured the Cat in bookshelf from Gerda Steiner designs with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. I have searched on internet for a purrfect ;) sentiment and after I found it I printed it on white linen cardstock. I have die-cut the sentiment with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 from Crealies. I used Frayed burlap distress ink and a wall stencil to create a wall on the white square. I have adhered the image with foamtape on the wall and then I adhered the white square on a white card.
