Hello positivi-tea....!!

Hey my friends...

Ashlee here with some new "Gerda Steiner" inspiration for you all...

My card today uses one of the latest released stamp sets "Positivi-tea" which I think is my new fave GSD set (Oh gosh who am I kidding, I love every GSD set hehe)!!

"Co-ordinating dies" also available for the stamp set...

I created a colourful background by using a die from Pinkfresh studio to cut the strips and then mounted them using foam strips to add dimension....

I added sentiments from the same GSD stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink above and below the strips...

It was then time to add the coloured images that I coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers and finished it all off with some sequins!!

I hope you like this positive card and feel inspired to get creative...
Hugs Ashlee

Hello,...

Happy Thursday Gerda fans!

It's Cathy here sharing a little window scene using the Positivi-Tea stamps. That cute bear peeking out with that sentiment just makes me giggle!

To create this scene, I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock 3 3/4" x 5" and inked a brick wall stencil with Antique Linen distress ink. I added some accent to the brick using Copic E31.

I've used some rectangular dies for the window and a wood plank die for a flower box. I cut a thin strip of dark brown cardstock for the top edge of the flower box and die-cut some flowers for a fun pop of color.

I colored the stamped images with Copics, fussy cut them out and stamped the sentiments before gluing the window to the panel.

I hope you're having a fun crafty week and I'll see you again soon!

Positivi-Tea Friendship Card

Hi there! It’s Karen here today and I’ve got a friendship/thinking of you card today to share with you. I’ve combined the two latest stamp sets (Hello Sunshine and Positivi-tea) from Gerda Steiner Designs for this one. They are both just such fun, cheerful stamp sets and I felt like they would go well together.

I started by stamping and copic colouring the images. I’ve listed the markers I used down below. The main sentiment was combined from the two stamp sets, and I just masked off the parts of the sentiments that I didn’t want to use. I love how all the messages in these two sets are just so uplifting. I also used the happy face stamp (from the Hello Sunshine set) and white embossing powder to decorate the teapot.

For the background, I used the Bohemian Plate die from Simon Says Stamp to make that lovely pinpoint detail. I then die cut it with the A2 Thin Frames die, also from Simon Says Stamp, to create the thin rectangular frame. I also used this die to cut another rectangle from some teal pearlescent cardstock.

I glued the background pieces to an A2 card base, and then filled in the rectangle with the teal rectangle. I popped the mouse up on foam tape and then glued my sentiment and images in place.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you’re having a great day!
