Cupcake Birthday Card by Karla

Hello friends! Karla back today with a cute birthday card using the adorable (and currently FREE!) Let's Eat Cupcake digital stamp. This cute little bear is a great guy to add to any celebration card, and just think of all the flavours you could use for his yummy sweet cupcake!

I coloured in this little guy with Copic Markers and then added drops of Stickles on the frosting and gel pen accents on the cupcake. I'm thinking this is a lemon confetti cupcake with an orange cream frosting ;) I layered him on some fun Doodlebug Design papers and added some bright sequins - because every birthday needs sequins!

I used a fun Triangle Fold design for this card, and you can see how it opens up to show the inside. Basically, it is an 8 1/2"x11" piece of cardstock scored at 5 1/2" on the long edge and 4 1/4" on the short edge and then cut from corner to corner. The flaps then fold in to create your card front. I secured the front with a piece of bakers twine tied around the bottom of the card. I found some birthday sentiments from stamps in my stash and now my card is ready to give to a friend!

Let's eat cupcakes

Hi Everyone, Melissa here.  For my card I have used the Freebie 'Let's eat Cupcakes'.  It can be found here.

I made the printed the image the exact size of the card and it has been coloured with Copic Markers.  The border is hand drawn using a Copic Multi Liner Pen and added striped patterned paper to the side.  To finish the card, Glossy Accents was put onto the letters and cupcake.

I made this card with the freebie "Let's Eat Cupcakes". If you also want to play with it, you can get it here. And while you are still there, you can also download a lovely autumn digi.

I have used an embossingfolder with cupcakes and colored them lightly with Pan Pastel. The bear is colored with Promarkers. I put some Stickles on the whipped cream. The balloon has been colored with a Sakura gelly roll (stardust glimmer). I also used this for the decoration on the cake.

Happy Fall and Let's eat Cupcake

it's Tanja here and I created two cards using the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall Printable and the Let's Eat Cupcake Printable which are available in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop:

• color the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall Printable with Derwent Inktense Pencils, watered-down Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint) and a damp watercolor brush
• mount the panel onto a piece of kraft cardstock stamped with leaves and from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall set in Altenew Crisp Ink Mocha
• embellish the card with some natural twine before adhering it to the cardbase

And this is my second project:

• color the Gerda Steiner Designs Let's Eat Cupcake Printable with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• apply Distress Ink Pumice Stone through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Feather for a subtle background
• add a strip of silver glitter paper and a strip of purple cardstock before adhering the panel to a cardbase
