You Got This!

Hi everyone, it’s Karen here and I've got an encouragement card for you today.  I've used the Happy Fall stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs for this one and it has a very summery feel to it.

The images are all from the Happy Fall stamp set, and I've coloured them with Copic markers before fussy cutting them out.

I used the "So Many Squares Panel" die from Your Next Stamp for the overlay.  It actually cuts a grid of twelve squares, but I cut a few of them out with scissors to allow my pictures and sentiment to fit.

I ink blended the background using my now favourite summer colour combination of Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud ink in Clear Day.  I masked off the outside area of the card before ink blending.

I stamped and clear heat embossed the sentiment so it would fit in one of the openings of the overlay diecut.  Then I attached the kite with the string to the back of the overlay before gluing it into place on the card front.  Finally, I popped the little squirrels up on double sided foam tape before attaching them in place.  I love how happy those squirrels are!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you’re having a great day!

Turtley Great with Alma

Hi, this is Alma and today I want to show you a happy under water scene card with the fantastic Turtley Great 4x6 Clear Stamp Set.. We're having a heatwave here in Germany, so we could use a cooling-down in form of a card.

I decided to go with a rectangular card format and then die-cut the white frame.

Then I whiped the background in the Distress Oxide Colours Ground Espresso, Brushed Corduroy, Chipped Saphire, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistacchio and and sprinkled them with water. I set white highlights with the gel pen so that the water structure gets even more depth.

Then I glued the die cutted under water scene greenery and glued the frame to the cardstock.

Then I coloured the turtles from the Turtley Great 4x6 Clear Stamp Set with Copics.

Now everything is glued together.

Finished!

You are the beast by Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends,  Noga  here and I am so happy to share with you another project for Gerda Steiner Designs today.

My card featuring the adorable  Monster Fun 4x6 Clear Stamp Set and Monster Fun 4x6 Die Set.

To make this card I die cut an heart window die out of white cardstock.
I ink blended the background on Bristol smooth cardstock using salvaged patina distress oxide ink  and splashed it with water and glued it under the white window cover.

Next I colored the sweet images using copic markers and  glued it to my panel with foam tape for dimension.
Next I stamped a greeting from this stamp set using black ink.

For a final touch, I added clear sequins.

I hope you enjoy the card I created and feel inspired to create!

Thanks for stopping by,

On the Bookshelf

Hi there,

it's Tanja here and I created another card using the adorable Gerda Steiner Designs On the Bookshelf stamp set:

  • stamp one of the cute cats, the mouse, the globe and a plant from the Gerda Steiner Designs On the Bookshelf set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background with the help of the Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms stamps and stencils and Distress Ink (Milled Lavender, Shaded Lilac, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Fossilized Amber)
  • cut a strip of Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock as a bookshelf
  • add a strip of colored cardstock and of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

i hope you got inspired.

Hugs.
