Two kitten in the stocking - Margreet

Today I am posting a card on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog. This time I have made a Christmas card with the digital stamp Two Kitten in the Stocking. I have coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut out the image. I have used liquid appliqué for the fur edge.

I decorated with some 'glass' snowflakes and spattered also with a white Molotow marker.

Two kitten in a stocking - Larissa

Goodmorning, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I made a christmas card with the sweet image Two kitten in the stocking from Gerda Steiner designs.

I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the image. I added Dry glitter: Clear rock candy from Ranger to the trim of the stocking. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies I have die-cut a rectangle from white cardstock and made a background on it with the Kuretake gansai tambi set. I glued the image with foamtape on the rectangle and then I stamped a sentiment from the set Typed christmas from Hello Bluebird below the image. I have die-cut a larger rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies from the Graphic grid paperpack from My favorite things. Then I have decorated the card and the image with a couple of really tiny white pearls.

Two Kittens In A Stocking Card with Karla

Hey friends! Karla back today with a look at the adorable digital stamp Two Kittens In The Stocking in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop! These two cuties are definitely ready to make someone smile while waiting for Santa to arrive. I started off by printing the stamp on white cardstock and coloured it in with Copics and Prismacolor Markers, both alcohol based. I love adding details on my images after I've finished the colouring, so I grabbed some Silver, Gold and White gel pens and added some dots and dashes and then used some clear Stickles to add sparkly white polkadots on the furry Christmas Stocking cuff.

I created a quilted effect with a background die, using papers from an older Echo Park Christmas paper pad and then added a diecut string of lights across the top for the cute stocking to hang on with a bit of red ribbon.

Some Glossy Accents and iridescent glitter adds more sparkle to the bulbs and a little Merry Christmas sticker with a couple of half pearls finish it off!
