Happy Holidays from All of Us!
Hi, it’s Maureen Hayes back with another guest post here on the Gerda Steiner Blog. I love the Little Reindeer stamp set, and even though I’ve owned it for several years, I find myself reaching for it each season. It’s just so darn cute and always makes me smile! Today I created a card for Christmas combining images from several Gerda Steiner stamp sets, including of course Little Reindeer, Christmas Kitten, Carol Kitten and Up On The Housetop.
Each of the sets make lovely cards on their own, but I used MFT’s Stitched Collage Frame Die to allow me to use images from each on one card. I hope you like it.
I started by stamping all my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Neenah 80lb. Solar White Cardstock. I had already cute my collage frame and made sure that I stamped each image where I wanted it to appear in the frame. I used Neenah paper because I knew I would be using my Copic markers to color and I find I get the best blend with Neenah. You can use any paper or coloring medium of your choice.
The Copic Markers I used are:
R29, R37, R32, G07, G28, E00, E31, E35, E55, E57, Y06, C0, C02, C3, C9
I also used my Signo Gel pens in White and Silver
Once I completed my coloring I glued my Stitched Collage Frame down and adhered the whole thing to a card base with plaid paper to give it a more festive, “Christmas” feel. I also added some Glossy accents to give some dimension to the ornaments, etc…
I hope you enjoyed the card and will consider looking at your sets of stamps to see what you can mix and match to create your own card!
I want to thank Gerda Steiner for allowing me to guest design here, it truly has been such a dream come come true and I can’t say enough about how wonderful they were to me or how much they helped. As a “super fan” of many years, it was a true honor to get to use their products on their blog.

Autumn Blessings
Hello! I'm Dee from deesdesigns and I'm so excited to be a guest designer for Gerda Steiner Designs this month. Today I'm sharing a couple of creations using the Pumpkin Mouse stamp set. For those that may not know me, I prefer to make A7 size cards so the scale of my designs may be a bit different than you are used to.
I started out by stamping the pumpkin row on to some Neenah cardstock and colored the image with copic markers. After coloring the image I felt it was missing something so I looked over and saw the little mouse all colored up just waiting to be used. I embellished the card with a fall leaf diecut and framed the entire panel with gold foil cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and heat set the sentiment to coordinate with the gold foil frame.
When I'm looking for inspiration, I'll often grab a piece of patterned paper and pull colors of cardstock that coordinate with the paper. For today's card, I pulled 5 different fall shades. I know it is difficult to tell but there are two different shades of orange 😀
I stamped the sentiment on to the yellow panel with VersaFine Claire ink. Using a t-square ruler I lined up the panel on a piece of text paper to ensure everything would be square when adding the remaining rows. Between each of the rows of colored cardstock, I added thin strips of gold foil cardstock. There is something magical about using gold foil on fall-themed cards!
I hope I've inspired you to check out this adorable stamp set. I can't wait to see your creations.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

You are loved!!!
My second card as GSD Guest designer uses the Gerda Steiner Stamp Set "Cup of Love".
I stamped it twice on white cardstock and colored both images using my Copic Markers. Then I fussy cut out both images and seperated the mouse from one of the images to use to pop-up layer on top with foam tape.
I then created colorful layers using designer paper and foundation dies.
This gave it a very whimsical look.
Finally popping up the cups (using foam tape) on top of the layered base card and adding a banner sentiment.

Halloween Washi Ghosts!
Hi everyone ~ Kelly here!
I'm back as a Guest Designer with my second post.
Today, I'm showcasing a card with the BOO-tiful
Halloween Ghosts and Halloween Washi tape!
This is such a fun and playful set
and I think the ghostie with glasses is my absolute favorite of all time!
I colored them with copic markers
and thought it would be fun to use the washi tape
in a creative way.
I rolled out strips of the washi tape onto cardstock
and chose a cityscape die channeling a little bit of Ghostbusters!
The sky is sprinkled with irredescent glitter clear acryic paint
and in a different light, it slightly changes colors!
Wishing you all a Fun and Spooky Halloween!
to use these amazing products!

I Love Fall Most of All
Hello crafty friends! My name is Maureen Hayes and I am beyond delighted to be guest designer for Gerda Steiner! I have been a fan of these stamps for years and it’s a dream come true to be making cards on this blog.
I started out by stamping all my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah 80lb. Solar White paper, since I knew I would be Copic Coloring. For this Fall themed card, I used the adorable 3 x 4 stamp set called Pumpkin Bear.
I used the following Copic Markers to color the images:
R29, R32, YR04, YR07, YR09, YR16, G07, G28, E09, E19, E31, E55, E57
I also used my Signo white Gel pen for highlighting and a Black gel pen for his nose.

Cats in Boxes Meowy Christmas!
Hi there everyone! It's Misty here from @thejollyfatelf. I'm excited to be back with another project for you as a guest designer for Gerda Steiner! I'm also excited to share with you a card that's actually in my 2023 Holiday Card Series on my youtube channel. This is year nine. I cannot believe it!
For this project, I used the cute Cats and Boxes stamp set. These kitties are adorable and I knew immediately that they had to go on a Christmas card.
I started this card by stamping on my favorite Copic friendly paper and several pieces of patterned paper. I keep scraps in a little bucket on my desk and these were the perfect size to use a few of those up!
If you know me, you know that I love non-traditional holiday colors. This card has a retro vibe with the brilliant coral and fun teal blue. For the sentiment, I used letter dies to cut out the word meowy. Using Meowy in place of merry for the sentiment is a great way to add a little fun and pop of red in this card!
Thank you so much for joining me today! Which kitty is your favorite? I don't think I can pick!. Be sure to check out the video and leave a comment saying hi!

Happy Summer Melon Muncher!!!
Hi there friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a fun Bridge Card I made using the Little Guinea Pig Melon Muncher 2x3 Stamp Set, and his digital Dino Melon Muncher friend.
To make this card I first cut a panel of white cardstock 10 3/4" x 5 1/2", I scored this at 1 1/4", 2 1/4" and 3 1/4", turned it to the other end and scored at the same measurements. This once folding on the score lines will leave a base 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I cut cardstock in Green and Pattern Paper to fit the panels. The 2 sides were cut green- 1 1/4" x 5 1/2", and the pattern paper is 1" x 5 1/4". The inside panel is 4" x 5 1/2" for the green and 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" for the pattern paper.
The watermelon slice is a die from MFT.
On the back my card panel where the sentiment can be written is 3" x 10" scored at 5". I purchased the Digital Dino (also available as a clear stamp set) from the Gerda Steiner Shop and thought he would be so cute on the back. I colored him and the Guinea pig with Copic Markers.
You can find me at leeanngetscrafty on all social media. Have a great week and I'll be back on the 25th with my next project, which is just too adorable.

Gerda Steiner Designs - Vrooming By!
I'm sharing another fun card featuring a Gerda Steiner Designs set called Vrooming By! Gerda has such a talent with these cute critters! This is one of their 3x4 clear sets and comes with three phrases, a word and and exclamation point. Very versatile so that you can customize your message.
I began by stamping the image onto X-Press It white card stock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne pigment ink and embossing with clear powder. The image was fussy cut and colored with Copic markers. I also fussy cut the houses from a sheet of designer paper by American Crafts for the background.
The houses were layered onto Stampin' Up! Basic Grey card stock. A hand drawn center line for the street was added with an American Crafts Galaxy Marker. Lastly, the image was adhered with dimension tape and a coordinating sentiment added.
I hope my project inspires you today! I really had fun putting this together.
Supplies used for my project: Gerda Steiner Designs set called Vrooming By!, American Crafts designer paper, American Crafts Galaxy Marker, X-Press It White card stock, Stampin' Up! Basic Grey card stock, Versafine Clair Nocturne pigment ink pad, Stampendous clear embossing powder, embossing buddy, Copic markers (E33, E35, E53, C5, R22, R05).

Have a Fun & Spooky Halloween
Hi crafty friends! I am very excited to be a guest designer for Gerda Steiner Designs. I’m sharing a spooky scene card featuring the Halloween Ghosts Stamp set.
For this card, I created the background first by water
coloring an A2-sized panel. I used two different shades of purple and swiped
the color horizontally across the entire panel. Next, I created a grounding
element by trimming a piece of blue cardstock and lightly blending the edges with
blue ink. Then I splattered the background and the trimmed panel with diluted
white paint for interest.
I stamped the images with Copic-friendly ink and used my
Copic Markers to color everything in. I also created the moon by die-cutting a
circle and adding shading with my markers.
Copic Marker
Using a sweet sentiment from the stamp set, I white heat embossed it onto a piece of blue cardstock and adhered all of the elements to the front of my card panel using foam adhesive, liquid glue, or glue dots.
I hope you enjoyed my card today, and I will be back next week with another guest design project featuring the Halloween Ghosts Stamp
set.
Happy Fall
Hello Gerda Steiner Fans. Jeanette Cloyd here back for my second time this month as a guest designer. This has been such a fun experience partly because I am a HUGE fan of Gerda Steiner Designs and partly because the Nuts About You stamp set is just way too fun.
I shared two cards on September 2nd and today I'm sharing the 3rd card I made using the Nuts About You stamp set. This time my little squirrel is a gray squirrel, which I colored with Copic Markers.
Some fun designer papers add to the design of the card, as well as some fun dies and embellishments.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

Furry and Bright (Easel Card)
Specialty folds can give handmade cards an additional “wow” factor and are often surprisingly easy to create. Easel cards are my favorites because recipients often display them long after the special occasion is past! (See my supplies list for links to a few of my favorite blogs that offer tutorials for this fold, and many others.)
My scrapbook and card-making stash provided several patterned papers plus gemstone stickers (hearts and stars) to add additional colors, textures, and a bit o’ bling to my card!
· Colored with Spectrum Noir Classique markers, and Sakura Gelly Roll white gel
· My favorite tutorials for Easel Cards (and many other folds) can be found at Beccy’s Place and the Butterfly Challenge.

Halloween ghosts
Hello everyone. Here is my last card with this fun new stamp set (see below). This is such a cute set with so many possibilities for a lot of cute cards and Halloween projects.
I kept this first card (stay tuned, I have a total of 4 more) very clean and simple. I stamped the ghost in versafine ink then heat embossed it so that I could color it with Copic markers. I then highlighted the glasses with glossy accents.
I found a piece of cardstock that matched the color I used on the glasses to stamp the sentiment. A square die was used to cut out the image and then I layered everything in black. As you can see by the shadow, I did use foam tape behind the ghost to give it some dimension.
Here is the stamp set that will be released soon.

Levitating Ghost!
Hello there! Katie Brooks here today from KBStamps as a guest designer. This is guest Design Spot #2 for me and it has been amazingly fun!
Today I have another fun Halloween card using the new Halloween Ghosts Bundle. This card has a little something extra to give it a boost! Wait until you see this levitating ghost that I made my my dad in mind.
There are a few things this card has in common with my last card- 1) the stamp & dies 2) the 4.25 X 4.24 size and 3) the googly eyes. But there are several differences too and I'll point them out for you.
I made this card using that black 4.25 square base I mentioned. On top of that is a layer of Doodlebug Designs Halloween Patterned Paper (this is another similarity I forgot to mention. What you might notice is that I used a Lawn Fawn die cut to make this ghost interactive and appear to levitate up and down. I used acetate for the mechanism so you can't really see it and you get that optical illusion. After setting up the interactive, I stamped out my ghostly image and die cut it. Last time, I used regular gray for my ghost shadows, but this time, I used YG01 to make it glow a bit like Slimer from Ghost Busters! I also added a little R35 for the tongue. Again, I added googly eyes to my image, but this time really BIG ones. In addition, on the background, I stamped the sentiment and added a bunch of the Boo Cutting Die cuts using glitter paper for the front portion and black for the back.
Here is how this little dude looks when he returns to his original position:I just adore this card! It is bright and bold and makes me giggle a little. I sure hope that my dad likes it too!
