Happy Halloween From The Boo Crew!

The Boo Crew has floated in to wish you a frightfully fun Happy Halloween! If this ghostly gang makes you shake, rattle, and roll, then this shaker card is definitely calling your name.

For the spooky background, I blended Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, and Villain Potion Distress Oxide inks to create a bright, eerie Halloween glow.

These little haunters were a scream to color! I used the following Copic markers:

  • C0, C1, C3, C5, C7 – gray
  • Y00, Y08 – yellow
  • Y17, YR16, YR18 – orange
  • V15, V17 – violet
  • B0000, B00, B04 – blue

I placed these friendly ghosts on a shaker pouch, which makes the whole card quick, easy, and extra fun—just give it a shake and let the spooky magic swirl! The sentiment is included with the set, so I stamped it on cardstock and trimmed it down to fit.

Thanks so much for stopping by—I hope your day is full of treats, sparkle, and maybe even a friendly little ghost or two!

Ghouls just wanna have fuh-un. . .ghouls just wanna have fun

Step aside Cindy Lauper, here come some sweet ghoul-friends ready to party on.  Excited to be here and guest designing for Gerda Steiner Designs with this new release called "Faboolous Birthday."  When I first got this set and saw the disco ball, I just knew I needed to make a spinner card.

For the spinning disco ball, I stamped out two images of the ball on silver holographic cardstock, using Staz-On black ink to make sure the ink wouldn't smear (and it didn't).

I colored the ghosts using copic markers creating an ice and blue-violet undertone with B000, BV00, and B0000.

I smile every time I look at the little ghost doing its best John Travolta Staying Alive moves!!

Happy crafting~

I ink blended a fun candy corn look for the background on a top fold A2 card base and then scored at the 1/2 way on the front to make an easel card. The image pops up and props on the inside sentiment. I colored the large focal image with my OLO Markers.

Happy Boo-thday By Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends,  Noga  here and I am so happy to share with you another project for Gerda Steiner Designs .

Today I’m sharing with you a slimline card for birthdays.

My card figuring the brand new adorable "FABOOLOUS BIRTHDAY" and "HAPPY BOO-DAY" sets that will be release on 8/26/26.

To make this card I took a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and cut a slimline card- 8.5X3.5 inches.

The background was created by blending wilted violet and victorian velvet distress oxide inks,I spired some water onto it and soaked it up with paper towel.
I also splattered some white paint on the background.

I colored the sweet images using copic markers.
The copic markers that I used and are perfect for ghosts are: BV01, V01, RV02 and RV0000.

Next I glued the images to my panel with foam tape for dimension.

Next I stamped a greeting from "HAPPY BOO-DAY" using black ink.

To finish off, I added a slimline white scallop frame.

I hope you enjoy the card I created and feel inspired to create!

Thanks for stopping by,

Noga

Knock knock. . .who's there. . .Boo!

Boo hoo? Don't cry!!  These little ghosts from Gerda Steiner Designs "Happy Boo Day" and "Faboolous Birthday" stamp sets are sure to make you smile!!

I used the knock knock, who's there? dies from Lawn Fawn to make this sweet little interactive card.  I thought the partying ghost was perfect for popping out of the tree.  And I loved adding the little peekaboo ghost coming out from behind the tree.  It just all makes me smile.  I chose to put my sentiments inside the card, but they could definitely be added to the front too.

I used distress oxide inks (villainous potion, black soot, and scattered straw) to color the background and splattered with gansai tambi starry colors and die cut the tree from black sparkle cardstock.  The ghosts were colored with copic markers:  B000, BV00, and B0000.

A Happy Boo-thday Release!

Greetings everyone! It's me again, Jessie Scott (@chevy.scott on IG) here to share a fun new ghostie release with Gerda Steiner Designs products!

I blended a coordinating balloon background to go with the cute character in this set holding a balloon. My background was a bit too busy, so I popped up the little ghostie on a postage die frame. Images were colored with my OLO Markers.
