Video: Selective Heat Embossing Using Tape
Hi guys!! This is Emily Cupely and for today's video I made a card perfect for Valentine's Day where I used the adorable Happy Fall stamp set. To decorate the base of the card, I did some heat embossing on top of a dry embossed panel using tape. Also, added some punched flowers to my images to make the card looks happier and brighter, or even perfect for the Spring. I hope you enjoy the tutorial below! :)

Non-red Valentine's cards!
Hi there!
It's Yolanda here, from Scraping Time. I imagine all of you making Valentine's cards! I love this kind of cards but this year, I decided to try new colours apart from red or pink for my Valentine's!! What about brown??
For my cards, I have used some stamps from different sets:

For my cards, I have used some stamps from different sets:
Let me show you the first one! Since I saw the bulldog I fell in love to it!! It seems to be so sad and angry and I feel like hugging and sending some love!! That's why I decided to make a card with soft colours and a big heart!!
I love small stamps to make backgrounds and you have three of them in this set. They are adorable! With the cute bones I made a heart. Firstly, I draw a soft line with my pencil using a heart die. Then, I stamped the dog and masked it with masking paper because I wanted to hide two of the bones behind the legs. Then I stamped the whole heart and erased the pencil. I stamped the sentiment and coloured the bones and dog with Spectrum Noir markers. A bit of Glossy Accent on the nose and that's all!! I hope he feels better now!! ;) But just in case... I stamped a cute sentiment from one of the new stamp sets into the card.
I love the sketch look of the "Ruff day?" sentiment.
Then, I played a little bit with the cute ducks from one of the new stamps sets that you can find on the shop. I think I will use this set a lot in spring and summer but I wanted to give it a try just now.
I love paper piecing and it´s very easy to fussy cut these ducks. I made the sea background with distress inks, water and a piece of acetate. Then I used a wood decorated paper and some brads for my panel. I love the font from the sentiment. It is so nice!
I hope you enjoyed my cards for today and see you soon!!
If you are here, I am sure that you really enjoy with Gerda Steiner Designs' products so it could be a great opportunity to apply for being a Guest Designer on March!

Peeking Birthday Bulldog
Hey everyone!
It's Wiebke here today! And before I start showing you my new card, I want to remind you that Gerda Steiner Designs is having a Guest Designer Call! Head over to the blog for more informations.
And now to todays card! I had a fun idea in mind when I first saw the hilarious bulldog of the new "Howl Are You?" stamp set! The dog is similar to the peeking friends on which you can put elements under or next to - This dog definitely needed something to peek out ;)
I placed the top of the present from the Monster Party stamp set on his head and put a banner with an embossed sentiment (also from Monster Party) under him. It looks like he's peeking out of a present! The background was made with a few splashes of watercolors, just a soft colorful touch behind your dog as a focal point.
I hope you have an awesome day! :)

Ruff Day? Dog Encouragement Card with a Super Cute Puppy
Hello crafty friends! It's Jess from JessCrafts.com. Today I am sharing a card made with the Howl Are You? clear stamp set. I just had to color this super grumpy little bull dog. I plan on sending him in a sealed envelope with instructions to save for a bad day. Then they can open this card and have a a little surprise inside to cheer them up. For more on the coloring check out the video:
I have some quick tips to share about coloring. Using the Momento Rich Cocoa when coloring a critter brown can give a subtle effect without going all the way to no line coloring. Also trace over details like the eyes or mouth in black pen to add definition. Finally make any white area pop with some white gel pen.

Have you seen the new Clear Stamps on the shop??? I am looking forward to starting playing with them but meanwhile, I am going to try to stretch my Christmas stamps! Yes... don´t be afraid... I am not going to show you more Christmas cards this year !!! :)
I know that there are many people that after Christmas, take the Christmas stuff and put them away till next year. But I am sure that you can use it more if you look at them with "cardmaker" eyes! ;)
For my cards, I have used some stamps from "Peeking friends" and "Snowman friends".

For my cards, I have used some stamps from "Peeking friends" and "Snowman friends".
In my first card I used this critter that can be used for many kind of cards... Birthday cards, friendship...
I used three diferent colours of Distress Inks for the background and then I did my panel. I die cut a false stitched square on white cardstock and I die cut a smaller one but I decided not to put it straight! I coloured the stamp with Spectrum Noir markers and I finished the card with the sentiment from Mama Elephant and some silver sequins.
For my second card, I decided to use these cute snowmen for a Valentine's card. I love this set and it is lovely for a winter scene too!
I show you how I made this card:
I really enjoyed playing with these two lovers!! :)
I hope you look at your stamps twice from now on and see you soon!!

Bunny Valentines Day Card
Hey everyone!
It's Wiebke here! And It's time for the first valentine cards of this year! I just want to share with you this lovely bunny card using one upcoming adoraaaaable bunny stamp set, which is actually an easter stamp set :) And I think you guys will LOVE it!
I created a watercolored background using some soft pink and rosé colors and placed my elements on the top of it. I colored the bunny plus the balloon and hearts with Copic Markers and white heat embossed the sentiment (from the Holiday Friends stamp set) on black cardstock. I only needed to handdraw a little string between the balloon and the bunnys hand and the card was ready :)
I hope you liked this first inspiration of Mr. Bunny and I hope you are as excited as I am for the release of this stamp set! :)

Warm Winter Wishes by Jess Gerstner
Hello crafty friends! It's Jess from JessCrafts.com. Today I am sharing a card made with the Snowman Friends clear stamp set. I love the idea of mixing snowmen with coffee cups because being outside in the snow always makes me want to come in and drink something warm.
I used some blues and greens as they are cool colors and give a winter feel to the card. I love how easy these snowmen are to fussy cut so it was simple to pop him up on some foam tape and bring attention to the sentiments with enamel shapes.
