Clean and Simple Christmas Card featuring Deck the Halls
Hello crafty friends! It's Jess from JessCrafts.com. Today I am sharing a card made with the Deck the Halls stamp set. I wanted to really focus on this cute little kitty so I created a clean and simple card.Check out the video for more:
When working on a clean and simple card simple it can be beneficial to keep the color story minimal. This is why I opted for a neutral color cat. I'm a big fan of adding sparkle on Christmas cards so here I added gems, glitter, and glossy accents. I love that I was able to sneak in some gem destashing into such a stamp heavy design.
Check out Gerda Steiner's amazing selection of Christmas stamps and then share your creations over on the Facebook group.

Cute and Clean Monster
Well, hello there, crafters! Today is my last day as a member of the Gerda Steiner Design Team. It's been a fantastic year and I had a blast to be part of Gerda's journey from digi stamps, to rubber stamps, to clear stamps. As you have seen, I am totally in love with her monster stamp set and this will be my parting card. But hey, don't be sad! I have some christmas cards with the "Peeking Friends" stamp set in store for you that I will share later this year, just in time for the season, so you'll see me back as a guest designer :)
In my mind, monsters are not scary and ugly, but rather happy little critters that enjoy a good sunset and like to chill, just like we do. So that's what I tried to create with this little guy. I did a bit of masking and distress inking and realized just how much I love using that medium.
Of course I had to add a few accents to the little guy with a silver pen, and googley eyes to make him funny. And because I thought it was hilarious, I added a few butterflies with silver ink, then the sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays and voila, we have a love-struck monster with a silly love-sick grin on his face.
I hope you enjoyed this project and keep checking out what Gerda Steiner Designs will come out with in the future. There are some pretty neat christmas sets ready for the season, and I can't wait to see where Gerda will go next year. Thanks for the incredible journey!

Get well soon, Mr. Snowman!
Hey everyone!
It's Wiebke here for you today! And I have a card for you featuring the new Snowman Friends clear stamp set. Ah dear friend of mine is fighting a cold currently while being abroad, therefore I wanted to sent her some cheering up words. And a matching card of course!! :)
I just loooove these snowmen to pieces! They're all full of individuality and charisma!
I colored the two little guys with my copic markers in classic christmas colors. Afterwards, I created a background using Distress Inks and a blending tool and some masking paper to get a sharp edge for the horizon. I splashed some waterdroplets on it so that it may look like snow or stars... just to let it look a bit more interesting ;) The final step was to give them a tiny bowl of soup and a matching sentiment from another set. Is it possible for a snowman catching a cold? :D I think so! Olaf also caught one!!
Thank you for joining me today, I hope you're all feeling healthy! :)

Halloween or Christmas??
Hi there!!
It's Yolanda here, from Scraping Time. Today I'm going to show you two very different projects. At this moment, I´m moving between Fall, Halloween and Christmas and that´s why it was impossible for me to choose just one and I decided to play with two topics today.
Let me show you a Halloween card. I am from Spain and here, Halloween is something learnt! We never celebrated it when I was a child so it´s not easy for me to make projects about it! I feel they are always very sweet instead of scary!!! :o)
I fell in love to this digital stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs: Kid in Pumpkin . Isn´t it so gorgeous???
I printed it and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir Markers. Then I fusy cut it and put some Wink of Stella Clear to make him shine! I love this image!
For the background I used several Distress Inks. I love this combination because they blend very well.
Once I had done it, I used a tag die to give some interest to it! I die cut three ones in black cardstock which I glued together to give it some volume on my main panel. Then I die cut a speech balloon, stamped my sentiment and then added a clear epoxy sticker. Finally, I added a pretty bow and glued everything to a purple card base.
And now, let me show you my first Christmas project in this blog. I have used some stamps from the new Christmas Clear Stamps Sets.
I love that these sets have lots of different stamps and the most important thing for me is that they are from different sizes so that you can make backgrounds, little details or complete scenes. That´s great!
For this entry, I decided to work with a Snow Globe. I bought it in a photography store and it was so easy to use. You just open its base and it has two cardstocks inside. You take them out and you can use them as a guide to fussy cut your own base. Then I created my two scenes. For the first one, I stamped that friendly Santa and on the other side, I created a tiny snowy scene.
I added some snow flakes wiht my white gel pen. And some Wink of Stella white pretending to be the snow.
Then I used some fine detail white embossing powder for my sentiment and I made my own banner. I added two mini brads and used some glue dots to stick it to the Snow Globe.
I hope you have enjoyed and I wish you a happy week!!
See you soon!

- mask this first image and stamp the cute reindeer on the left and the gingerbread man on the right

How to Color a Pumpkin using Alcohol markers
Aloha Guys! This is Joyce from Enjoyscrappin2.com and today we'll be making a fall card. I'm using 2 digital images, Hedgehog with Pumpkin, Halloween Cats and more along with the Happy Fall Clear stamp set. I picked out the pumpkin from the digital image and I resized them to all look different. That's the cool thing about digital stamps :) I also printed 2 of the Hedgehog, super cute, and colored all the images using my Shinhan Touch twin alcohol markers. I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks again for stopping by :)

Make a Sentiment into a Background Paper
Hello crafty friends! It's Jess from JessCrafts.com. Today I am sharing a card made with the Pumpkin Kitty stamp set. I love making my own backgrounds and often use little image stamps but thought I would mix it up and use a sentiment stamp.Check out the video for more:
I used Hero Arts Shadow Ink cubes to stamp the sentiments and then used some Wild Honey Distress Ink to add the yellow to the edges. I will share more about this card in a video soon but a little tip. When using cardstock mats you can die cut a shape out of the center (like the scalloped circle) to reduce cardstock consumption.
This little cat can be used for Thanksgiving as well so if you haven't picked it up yet it will certainly still be useful this year. But if you are in need of some Halloween stamps fast check out Gerda's Halloween digis.

Brightly Colored Monsters on Kraft Cardstock
Aloha, crafters! Today I have another monster card featuring the clear stamp set called "Monster Party". As you might have gathered already, I really really love this set. And monsters :)
Today, I'm giving my colored pencils a workout again, using them on kraft card stock. It always amazes me that I can get such vibrant colors on kraft.
I tried to stamp the image with white pigment ink first, but when you color over the lines, the lines disappear because the colored pencils are not translucent. So I went with white heat embossing instead and got much better results.
I am also really enjoying the WRMK Rise and Shine embossing folders which don't emboss a pattern but sentiments. Just such a neat and unique way to add words to your cards. And it also doesn't distract from the overall design.
As always, thank you for stopping by today and taking the time to leave a comment. I truly appreciate it!

Hippo with Butterfly
Hello crafty friends!
It's Wiebke here for you today!
I have a card for you, using the logo Hippo of Gerda Steiner Designs. It's a digital stamp called "Hippo with Butterfly", which you can get at the Gerda Steiner Designs Online Shop!
I am so into pastel colors lately and decided to turn the sweet Hippo in Mrs. pink Hippo!
I blended a soft pastel looking background with my Distress Inks and splashed some water droplets on it. After that, I die cut a little frame and placed Mrs. Hippo on it. I was looking for a matching sentiment like "I'm thinking of you", but only found one in german. Just in case you are wondering what these strange words mean ... ;)
To embellish it up a bit, I also put some sequins on the card in the matching colors.
Have an amazing day! :)

Happy hippo!!
Hi there!
It´s Yolanda here from Scraping Time, in my first post for Gerda Steiner Designs.
I can´t tell with words how happy I am to be here! Gerda Steiner Stamps are amazing and always make me smile!! I met her designs some months ago and it was love at first sight!!!!
I have played with her stamps during some months and when she offered me to be part of her DT I couldn´t be more grateful!!
I am from the South of Spain and English is not my mother language so I hope you excuse my mistakes!!
For this first post, I have made a couple of cards with the new clear stamp set "Hippo in disguise".
This hippo is so much fun and you can use it as a super hero or a cute vampire!!
Some of the members of the team have made fabulous cards these days with the super hero stamp so I decided to transform it into a super heroine!!! :)
I decided to use pink as the main colour of the card in order to give her feminine power!! hehehe I really enjoyed playing with the cute stamp looking at it as a girl!
I used my Spectrum Noir markers to colour it and I fussy cut it. I put some glossy accent in her eyes and ready to fly!!
For the pink background I used for the sentiment on the speech balloon, I used some salt.
Firstly, I took a watercolor paper, water, Peerless watercolour (pink and coral) and then, some salt until it got dry! It is a fun technique to get nice backgrounds.
And now, I would like to show you my second card with the same stamp.
In this occasion, I used the complements of the set to transform the hippo into a cute and sweet vampire!!
I am a #shakercardaddicted so I think you will see some of them in the next months here! They are so cute and I love making them! For the purple background I used the same technique (using the salt) I made my own sentiment with an ABC and I also coloured it with Spectrum Noir markers. It was so much fun to see its new look!!!
For the shaker I used differents elements and I sticked some of the stars to the background.
I hope you enjoy the scene!
It has been great to have been here for the first time!
I hope you had a great time with this cute hippo and if you feel like, there is a giveaway in my blog where three of you can win the Gerda Steiner Designs October Challenge Digital Stamp. I will see you there!!
