Halloween ghosts

Hello everyone. Here is my last card with this fun new stamp set (see below). This is such a cute set with so many possibilities for a lot of cute cards and Halloween projects.

I kept this first card (stay tuned, I have a total of 4 more) very clean and simple. I stamped the ghost in versafine ink then heat embossed it so that I could color it with Copic markers. I then highlighted the glasses with glossy accents.

I found a piece of cardstock that matched the color I used on the glasses to stamp the sentiment. A square die was used to cut out the image and then I layered everything in black. As you can see by the shadow, I did use foam tape behind the ghost to give it some dimension.

Here is the stamp set that will be released soon.

EEK!

Hi everyone.  It's Laurie back with another Halloween ghost card.

I stamped the ghost in Versafine ink and heat embossed it so that I could color it with Copic's. I have had the designer paper in my Halloween stash of paper forever, so it was fun to put it to use on this card. It came from a Tim Coffey Halloween pack of paper put out by K&Company.

I used a few stitched dies to cut the ghost out and the fishtail banner. Layered it onto a black background and adhered everything onto a purple card base.

Stayed tuned for next Thursday as I have another creation made with this stamp set.

Mermaid

Hi, Margreet here.
I created a card with the sweet digital stamp Mermaid from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I have colored the mermaid, the little fish and the waterplant with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them.
On Yupo paper I have played with Various Ink (refills of the Copic Markers) and made 2 underwater backgrounds. As I couldn't make a choise which one to use, I decided to use them both.

I used some black soot distress ink to put around the edges. I glued the mermaid, fish and plant onto the smaller background and added some sequins. I also made some waterdrops with Glossy Accents.
Then I glued it with foam onto the larger background.

Here a closeup to see the 'golden' stripes in the background, made with reactive foil on the pieces which were not completely dried yet.
Have a great day!
xxx Margreet

Guest Design - You're Koalafied

Hello friends...Pri again from Me And My Daily Papercraft guest designing for Gerda Steiner Designs....I am sharing another card that I have made using the latest stamp set called You're Koalafied...It also has a coordinating die set...

I chose a lavender coloured textured cardstock for the card base and purple foil cardstock for the mat layer...the top layer has been die cut from white cardstock using Avery Elle double pierced rectangle dies...

Using distress inks and a craft stencil with leaves on it,I printed the pattern onto the top layer...I have used Bundles Sage and Mowed Lawn for this...I stamped a few hearts using red ink as well as the main sentiment using Purple ink...

On a separate piece of cardstock,I stamped the cute Koala image and coloured it in using the following Spectrum Noir markers - GG1 IG5 & BG5...I applied some glossy accents after cutting out the image and once dry,I placed it on the card...
