Graduation owl

Hi, Margreet here.
I created a card with the sweet digital stamp Graduation Owl (which is a freebie!) from Gerda Steiner Designs. You can grab it from HERE.
I wanted to use a paper with a ruler design and die cut the "JIJ" word (die from Marianne Design). Glued it on a piece of cardstock.
I also die cut the word from another, matching DP and laid it in. Stamped the word "jij" (you in Dutch) on the capital letters.
At the top banners from MemoryBox.
Then I printed and colored the cute image, fussy cut it and glued it with foamtape.
I also gave him some googly eyes.
He stands on a piece of cardstock with the text "you are graduated".

Hope the graduated boy will love it.
Have a great day!

Pen Pal Bear Stationary by Karla

Hello friends! Karla back today with a cute way to send some happy mail to a friend! While we are all socially distancing, I think we are also looking for ways to still connect with others. What would be better than to send some mail the old fashioned way, letting someone know we are thinking of them and we care! I thought I'd use the sweet Gerda Steiner Designs Pen Pal Bear digital stamp to make some stationary to send to a new pen pal of my own and I even made a coordinating card!

I opened up the digi stamp and positioned both the image and the sentiment in Word to fit on a piece of printer paper. Then I used the Watermark feature to add the image again centered on the page. I thought this was a cute addition!

I coloured in the bear with coloured pencils, using some pencils from my kids' art drawer. This guy is so cute - he would be great added to a teacher card or for your kiddos to send to their friends!

I also printed the image out on white 65 lb cardstock that I ran through my printer, and I coloured it with Copic Markers this time. I added some fun papers to a card and some pretty diecut circles stamped with a friendly Hello from a Sizzix set. After popping this cutie up with foam tape I added a few sequins and my set is ready to go!

Thanks so much for stopping by! You can check out both the clear and digital stamps in the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop and have fun creating your own happy mail!

Hugs,
Karla

Sweetie pie....!!

Hey my friends...

Ashlee here with you today and I have a new card to share that I made using the
"On the table" stamp set!!

The animals from the on the table set are just so cute and I wanted to make it look like the cat was up at the table eyeing off the yummy birthday pie!!

To create the table cloth I used a stamp from Waffle flower called Simply Plaids and stamped it with Catherine Pooler ink in the colour Melon Ice and Lime Rickey....

I added the die cut sentiment and pie from MFT Sweet as pie and then stamped on the sentiment "Have a sweet day" from the on the table set with Memento tuxedo black ink...

The cat is coloured up with Copic markers....
C00, C0, C2, C4, C5, R20

I added a touch of sequins from the Big Surr sequin mix from Catherine Pooler and the card was complete!!

I hope you enjoy this sweet as pie card!!
Happy crafting, hugz Ashlee

Good morning, Margreet here.
I created a birthday card with the sweet Moose Love Clear Stamp Set from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I colored the moose with Copics and fussy cut it.
I made a kind of window in the design paper and glued some brown cardstock behind it.
I placed the moose in it taking care that the antlers stayed loose.
I stamped the sentiment, mat it on brown cardstock, and attached it with doublesided tape.
Some googly eyes to finish it off.
Thanks for passing by.

Published Monster Birthday Card by Karla

Hello! Karla back today with a 'sweet' birthday card full of adorable monster wishes! And I'm super excited to share this with you because it was recently published in the Summer 2020 issue of the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine!! Be sure to check out page 118 to see this cute card in print! I'm using the super cute I Didn't Eat It Yet Birthday Monster and the Monster Holding Letter digital stamps, coloured with Copic Markers. I thought these two made a cute pair ready to deliver birthday wishes!

I used papers and cards from a My Mind's Eye collection and added some fun Stickles and Enamel Dots, stamping a festive sentiment with a stamp from my stash. A bit of white gel pen and some Glossy Accents add just a bit more detail.

Inside, I stamped the rest of the sentiment and now my card is ready to mail off to a friend! Be sure to check out the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine for lots of papercrafting inspiration - and you can always check to see what they are looking for on their Submissions Page. You never know, maybe your card will be featured next!!

Smile!

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Upside Down Flamingo. It's one of those unique sets and also, hilarious. I just love how the flamingo is looking underneath through his legs.

For this card, I started out with a card panel and did some ink blending. I used a couple shades of green distress inks (Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint) for the grass. To provide some dimension, I used a few similar alcohol markers to add blades of grass. In the sky, I used a base of Squeezed Lemonade to cover the rest of the card panel. I also wanted to add some interest to the background so I used a layering stencil called Catching Some Rays. For the first layer, I used Mustard Seed and then for the second layer, I used Fossilized Amber

I stamped out the flamingo from the Upside Down Flamingo set and colored him in using pink alcohol markers. I had this pink flock and really wanted to use it to add texture and just a general fuzziness to the flamingo. I used some liquid glue and added it right over the pink areas, waited a little bit and added flock, pressing it down to adhere properly. Isn't it so fun?

For the sentiment, I stamped it out using a watermark ink on black cardstock, adding some white embossing powder. I decided to trim down each word to scatter around the flamingo. I thought it added some fun to the card. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Ha-bee birthday (digital stamp) - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I made a card with a sweet bee from Gerda Steiner designs. The card is made for the To bee or not to bee bloghop that is organised by Milka. One of the sponsors from our bloghop is Gerda Steiner designs, so I also wanted to make a card with a sweet bee from Gerda for the hop.

I have coloured the Birthday bee (digital stamp) from Gerda Steiner designs with my Polychromos pencils and the white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the image. On a kraft card I glued rainbow patterned paper from the Really rainbow petite paper pack from Lawn fawn and then I added another layer of kraft cardstock. I doodled lines on the edges of the kraft cardstock with a black gelpen. Then I glued the little bee with foamtape on the card. The sentiment Hooray is from the set Party animals (clear stamp) from Gerda Steiner designs and I stamped it under the image. I doodled the stitched swirl with a black gelpen. Then I stamped a couple of stars on the card with the star stamp from the set Alien invasion (clear stamp) from Gerda Steiner designs. I added black hotfix gems on the antenna from the bee.

XOXO tag by Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends,  Noga here and I am so happy to share with you another project for Gerda Steiner Designs today.

To create this tag I first die cut the Fold over tag confetti cuts from REVERSE CONFETTI.

The outside and the inside of the tag was created by blending spun sugar distress oxide ink. I also splashed some gold paint on the outside on the tag.

Next, I colored the sweet images using copic markers. I glued it to my panel with foam tape for dimension.

I heat embossed the greeting XOXO with gold on a banner and added it to the tag.

I hope you enjoy the tag I created and feel inspired to create!

Thanks for stopping by,
