Meow & Forever kitty....!!

Hey everyone....

It's Ashlee here today and I've got a card to share with you all that I made using the brand new set "Valentine cats" perfect for those valentines day cards!!

To create this card I first started off with a white piece of card that I covered with some double sided adhesive. Using WOW! flock I covered the whole of the adhesive, pressed it in and then tipped off the excess. This creates a lovely flock piece ready to use for die-cuts!!

Using the flock piece I die cut a whole heap of hearts and placed them all over the card base.

I die cut a tag from MFT Trendy tag in pink and white cardstock and added a piece of paper twine to the top. Another flock heart, the sentiment and of course the super cute kitty finished off the tag!!

(The kitty was all coloured with Copics)

To finish off the card I added lots of pretty rhinestones from a Studio Katia mix....

I hope you enjoy this Valentines themed card and it gets your creative juices flowing!!
Happy crafting, Hugs Ashlee.

Be Mine Monster & Bear Cuties by Karla

Hello! Karla back today with a couple adorable images from the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop - the first one is the sweet Monster Holding Letter digital stamp who can't wait to deliver his special envelope and the second is this super cute Valentine Bear digital stamp, which is a FREEBIE! right now!!

I just got the Simple Stories Vintage Valentine collection pack and I couldn't wait to colour these guys up to match it! I printed them out on 65 lb white cardstock, put through my printer as plain paper, and coloured them up with Copic Markers. I added some glittery and white gel pens for details and fussy cut them out, leaving a small white border.

I used some dies from my stash and added various stitching details and then tucked in a few stickers and glued on some pretty sequins.

Inside, I added one of the 2x2 cards from the cut apart page and glued on some hearts cut from the heart border that I used on the front. Now my special card is ready to send to someone very special!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to head over to the Gerda Steiner Designs Shop to check out all the adorable images and stock up some sweet Valentine cuties to colour. Have an amazing week friends!

Hugs,
Karla

I like you "beary" much - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and here I am again with a new card for the blog from Gerda Steiner designs.

I have made a card with the clear stamp set Lovely panda's from Gerda Steiner designs. Like I have done before I coloured the panda this time like a normal brown bear with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I added dots on the cheek of the bear with a white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the image. On a tiny white card I added a strip of red design paper from the Tiny hearts brights paper pack from My favorite things (retired). With foamtape I glued a layer of white cardstock on the card. I used the Corner chomper to make round corners on the bottom of the card. With a black fineliner I doodled lines on the white cardstock. I glued the image with foamtape on the card and then I stamped a sentiment from the set Lovely panda's from Gerda Steiner designs next to it. I have die-cut a little embellishment from red cardstock and glued it on the card. I made a tiny bow from white ribbon and placed it on the embellishment.

XOXO

Hi crafty friends! Cathy here with a card using the new super cute Only For You stamps!

I kept the design of this on the simpler side to let the adorable kitty take center stage. I started by inking the background panel with Antique Linen distress ink. I added some Spun Sugar distress ink for a soft effect. After the inks were completely dry, I inked up a heart background stamp from La-La Land Crafts with Versamark and heat embossed using Wow! Oyster Glintz.

I inked a few die-cut hearts with Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick distress inks and heat embossed the sentiment from this stamp set in Wow! Super Fine Opaque White embossing powder.

I love the golden shine in the background.

Hope you enjoyed and see you again soon with more inspiration!

Penguin with hearts digital stamp on a chocolate box - Larissa

Hi everyone, I am Larissa from Car-d-elicious and today I am posting a new project on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a box for a chocolate bar. I designed the box myself, because I wanted it to have the perfect size for my chocolate. The box is made from pink cardstock. Then I decorated the box with a couple of penguins. I have printed the Penguin with heart digital stamp from Gerda Steiner designs 8 times. I mirrored 4 of the images, so they have a bit different position. I have coloured the penguins with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have coloured the hearts with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I added black sticker letters on the hearts. Then I have fussy cut all the images. I have cut a strip of paper from the striped patterned paper from the Do what you love pretty paper bloc from Marianne design and then I glued it on black cardstock. Then I glued everything on the back of the box. I have glued the images on the box and now they form the sentiment I love you.

The big tag for the other side of the box is diecut a with a die from the set Planner essential dies: 1607 Planner essentials 5 from Elizabeth craft designs from the striped patterned paper. I cut a hole inforcer from pink cardstock with the Planner essential dies: 1736 Reinforcement variety pack from Elizabeth craft designs and I glued it on the tag. I tied black jute thread onto the tag and then I glued it on the box. On a strip of pink cardstock I have stamped a sentiment from the set Essential sentiments from My favorite things with black ink and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder. Then I glued the sentiment on the card.

Only For You

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with one of the latest release from Gerda Steiner. This stamp set is called Only for You. If you follow me here on the blog, you'll know that I adore the smaller stamp sets because of how much I can do with them.

I immediately had the idea to stamp the kitty peeping from the heart and reverse stamp it so they were peeking through wall windows. Of course, this idea led to a scene card where the main kitty in sitting in front of the wall.

Once I stamped out the entire scene, I worked on the background using distress inks and masking paper. I love how this turned out and how pink this is.

This card is so fun and these kitties are just too adorable not to love!

I have a process video to show the steps as well! Check it out!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

Hey my crafty friends...

It's Ashlee here with you today and I have some pretty in pink tags featuring the brand new stamp set "Only for you" ....

Howdy all!  Allison Cope here today!

Today I’m sharing a fun birthday card creation today using a number of digital stamps.

Here’s a little side peek showing how the little girl pops off the back layer of the card.

Meow and Furever!

Hi crafty friends! It's Cathy here sharing a card today using some super cute stamps from the brand new Gerda Steiner Designs release coming very soon! There are quite a few awesome sets in this release and cat lover's rejoice!!

I've used an adorable kitty from the Valentine Cats stamp set on this card. I decided to play off the stamp and just go crazy with hearts on the background. To get this effect, I cut 2 pieces of watercolor cardstock at 3 3/4" x 5" and brushed a gradient wash across both with Dr. ph Martin's liquid watercolors in Ice Pink, Tropic Pink and Moss Rose. After they were thoroughly dry, I heat embossed the chunky fun sentiment from this set on one panel using Wow! Super Fine white embossing powder.

I die-cut the second panel with a heart die and glued them to the first panel. I love how they give it a little dimension, but it's still tone on tone in a splashy watercolor way.

I colored the images with Copics, fussy cut them out and glued them to the background panel.
Pretty simple and fun to do!

Hope you enjoyed and be on the lookout for the new release in the next few days!

See you again soon!
