Hedgehog with Ice Cream Fun Fold Card

Greetings everyone! It's me again, Jessie Scott (@chevy.scott on IG) here to share a fun fold card with the new Hedgehog with Ice Cream digital stamp set. This digital comes with a ready-to-go printable to make a quick card to color and give, or you can take the image like I did and use it for any card you like!

OK... so I went a little wild with my color choices!!! I had this fun ice cream paper in my stash and I thought to color my Hedgie with the same colors.

This card is called an A2 landscape easel card. To create it, all you do is take a regular top fold landscape A2 and score the card front in half. That's it! Decorative paper adds the fun detail and then you place a raised decorative element or a raised sentiment on the inside to stand the card up.

I sized the digital stamp to be the full 4-1/4" height of the card.

Stay Cool and Catch a Wave this Summer!

Greetings everyone! It's me again, Jessie Scott (@chevy.scott on IG) here to share a fun light up card with Gerda Steiner Designs products!

Today I have another fun collaboration with Pear Blossom Press products to share. This week I'm feeling super hot here in the desert and I'm wishing for the beach! Thanks to this little duckie, I was able to "Stay Cool" haha! Let's make this card with the Catch a Wave stamp set!

The background is made using a hand-made mask from printer paper that I cut to match the curves I wanted for this beach scene.

I ink blended the bottom with Distress Ink Antique Linen and Tea Dye, spritzed with water and then splattered with some gold water color. The blue is Salvaged Patina blended into a lighter Tumbled Glass and then a yellow glow out from the sun with Mustard Seed. I splattered the sky with a blue shimmer watercolor from Kuretake Pearl Colors set. Love how bright this blend looks! I want to go to this beach haha!

Here's an ink blending video:

Images were colored with my Olo Markers.  I'm still in love with them!
Here's a coloring video:

For the sentiment to fit in the sun I CUT IT! (I know! I know!) That's the beauty of stamps though! You can always mount it back to a block just the way it was. Don't be afraid.

For the rest of the card details and how to make this sun LIGHT UP, venture over to the companion post on my blog today!

Here's the finished card!  I also have a full process video on my blog.

Life Is A Journey!

Hi everyone!

Stacey here with you today to share a fun card using the new stamp called, Enjoy The Ride.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

Fun right? This stamp set includes 3 images and 6 sentiments! There is also a coordinating die set that will allow you to cut out the card window, as well as the 2 pups.

Here is how I made my card:
I started by making an A2 cardbase using white cardstock. I trimmed down a piece of light blue patterned paper and adhered that to the card front. I then added a strip of striped patterned paper, added that to the bottom of my card and tied some red crochet thread around for a little separation of the two patterned papers. I die cut a stylized scalloped rectangle from some road themed patterned paper and popped that up onto my card with foam tape. I stamped my car from the  Enjoy The Ride Stamp Set onto a piece of red patterned paper, fussy cut it out and added it to a piece of white cardstock. I used the coordinating die to cut out my window, going through both layers & ran it through my die cutting machine with a stitched stylized rectangle die so that the stitching was consistent on the car and the white cardstock layer. I added a piece of vellum to the back so that it could act as the window on the opposite side of the car before adhering it to my road patterned paper. I stamped the little doggy with some black Memento Ink and did some simple Copic coloring. I die cut him out, tucked him in behind the stamped window, added my sentiment and some matte enamel dots to complete my card. So fun!

Copic Colors Used:
--Window: B000, B00
--Dog: E31, E33, E41, Roo, R20, E04
--Glasses & Door Handle: C3, C5, C6

Ok, now on to the card for today!

I saw this Enjoy the Ride Puppies stamp set and immediately thought I wanted to have a door open on the car. It is a fun way to add an extra message before you open it up for a personal one inside.

The sentiments are from Best Mom Best Dad sentiment stamp set.  Quick summary, I extended the stamp lines with my 0.03 Multiliner Pen to create the door and then cut it with my x-acto knife but kept the left side of the door for a creased hinge.

Colored with my Olo Markers, ink blended some clouds with Distress Ink and viola!

Go Wild !

Hey dear creative friends,

I hope you are doing well.

Today I have another postage card for you. This time made with the super cute “Go Wild” set.  The giraffe in particular is soooo cool looking out of the car. I mean, even if it has the longest legs, that doesn't mean that the giraffe always has to walk.

As always, I colored with Copics.

Have a nice day and if you like, feel free to check me out on Instagram.

And go wild!!!!

Best wishes from Germany,

your Nicole aka Kimba-Slydog

Enjoy the little things by Noga Shefer

Hi crafty friends,  Noga  here and I am so happy to share with you another project for Gerda Steiner Designs today.

My card featuring the brand new adorable  Little Things Clear Stamp Set .

To make this card I took an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock.

For the background, I die cut the Double Stitch Window die out of white cardstock.
Behind it, I ink blended a background using Distress Oxide in squeezed lemonade, splashed it with water and and glued it behind the window cover panel.

Next I colored the sweet images using copic markers: T6, T5, T4, T2, T1, T0, RV11, R0000, R56, E13, E30, YG63, YG61, BG11, BG10, Y18, Y13.

Next I stamped a greeting from this stamp set using black ink.

I hope you enjoy the card I created and feel inspired to create!
